Addendum to Don't Blink --- ChemTrails May Be Gone

In yesterday's publication, "Don't Blink -- Chemtrails May Be Gone", we gave a brief recitation of the history, content, and funding support for Chemtrails through private Vatican sources initially, and later via Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) funded by government agencies, like USAID.  

In effect, this is derived from public sources, funneled through private organizations to give the appearance of private funding  --- a form of money laundering that kicks back a portion of all program funds and receipts as well as obscuring the actual source of the initiative or funding.   

This particular money chain from USAID to NGOs requires appropriations from Congress, so the hunt has been on to identify Congressional appropriations and agency programs responsible for Chemtrails. 

Here's at least one such connection in which the stated purpose of the Congressionally supported Chemtrail activity was to experiment with high altitude particle dispersion similar to cloud-seeding, for the purpose of deflecting natural sunlight and artificially cooling the Earth's surface:

This does not imply that all such Chemtrail initiatives have been aimed at the same results or were motivated by similar concerns; some Chemtrails have very definitely promoted widespread dispersal of incendiary materials that have been used to artificially accelerate explosive ground fires, for example, and do not appear to have any other known purpose.  

Keep your eyes open, Campers, for additional government sponsored appropriations for these activities both in this country and abroad --- especially England, Italy, the Vatican, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Belgium and the Netherlands.  

As we look, we will find --- and as we do, a larger picture of the purposes and goals of these willful acts of environmental pollution and their supporters will emerge. Like every other inquiry into government malfeasance and misconduct, and also into harmful and politicized scientific activities, it takes time to unravel the whole story from multiple perspectives. Be patient.  

It took decades for people to notice the Chemtrails and become alarmed by these unnatural "clouds" in the sky, decades more of deriding and denigrating those who asked questions and collected evidence --- and all the while, these harmful experiments with commercial gain overtones were being deployed, poisoning our food and water, endangering life on this planet, and recklessly harming at least three generations of humanity.  

The inappropriate misuse of "science" and scientific inquiry as an excuse for abuse of domestic populations of people and animals under the United Nations ENMOD "Treaties" and similar corporate government agreements must come to an end.  

Similarly, the abuse of military personnel as "lab rats" which has been facilitated by trafficking members of the military into the foreign jurisdiction of the sea and changing their inherent political status without their knowledge or permission must come to an abrupt halt. 

In addition to the apparent crimes of environmental pollution and harmful manipulation of the environment --- amounting to the commercial weaponization of the environment for purposes of unlawful commercial conflicts --- these activities and other activities of the so-called Corporate Governments, including the outrageous Pandemic, have required crimes of unlawful political conversion, entrapment, enslavement, misrepresentation, fraud, racketeering, inland piracy, press-ganging, and always, False Claims in Commerce. 

The United States Patent and Trademark Office is fundamentally responsible for many of these illegal and unlawful acts and presumptions, as it has habitually allowed the issuance of patents related to illegal activities in the name of "National Security".  

The bulk of the Chemtrail funding may have finally been cut off by defunding USAID, but we must address the underlying causes and errors that are systemic.  

How do we keep politicized science, that is, "Scientism" from hijacking the realm and role of actual science?  

How do we keep corporate self-interest out of the public purse?  

What sort of "moral rebuild" is required to keep public servants serving in good faith, instead of betraying the interests of the public and misusing the resources of the public for their own personal benefit? 

The bankruptcy of the UNITED STATES Corporation has forced us all to confront the reality of the grotesque mismanagement and enormous malfeasance promoted by those incorporated organizations which have masqueraded as "our" governments. 

While in fact causing widespread poverty, ignorance, and criminality, these same organizations have blamed the results of their own venal activities on racism, social discrimination, "human caused global warming" and even over-population.  

If even one-tenth of the funding already discovered as waste and abuse and criminality had been redirected toward good and practical uses, we'd already be living in a different world. 

We must wake up and take action, and there is no better action to take, than to accept the challenge of divesting ourselves of the False Indoctrination that we have been brought up in, and embracing the hurly-burly of American self-governance, instead.

Don't Blink --- ChemTrails May Be Gone

Several years ago we began updating people on Chemtrails and assuring them that no, they were not imagining things, and yes, this horrible "program" was being carried out on a private basis by organizations only partly known. 

We shared our research into Chemtrails bases in Alaska and our startling armed stand-off with Chemtrail pilots hired by Evergreen, Inc., their use of remote airfields, and our chemical analysis of the goop they were spraying ten years ago. 

The slurry of industrial wastes included metallic incendiary compounds, Aluminum Oxide, Lithium, Barium, Strontium, and other elements and compounds that together provide fuel components for explosive, bomb-like effects during forest fires, especially when water is applied to the blazes.  That is, when firefighters apply water to fires, the coating of Chemtrail pollutants explodes, causing the fires to get worse, not better. 

The entire Chemtrail program appears to have been: (1) a means to charge money for industrial wastes, therefore padding various corporate bottom lines; (2) a way to get rid of these wastes without the cost of proper disposal; (3) an intentional effort to poison soil and water resources; (4) a preparation increasing the damage caused by fires. 

We traced back the roots of the program to the Vatican, which issued a Commemorative Coin, celebrating the aerial spraying program in 1989.

Apparently, the "privately funded" program wasn't actually privately funded, at least not in the way that we normally understand the words "private funding".  

The connection flows through the now-infamous USAID organization to Catholic Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) -- that were regarded as "private" while receiving and using money from the Federal Subcontractors who raided it from our public purse. 

They were paying themselves and paying their program costs to poison us and our land and water resources, using our own funds to do it.  

Just as George Soros didn't fund the 2020 Rent-A-Riots that caused billions of dollars of lost income and property damage using his own money; he used grants from USAID. 

The skies, at last, are clear.  The killing ground fog has also disappeared.  The Evil Organizations that caused this deadly pollution for so many years are being defunded as the Trump Administration applies Mop and Bucket and carries out the system-wide audit process required to settle the UNITED STATES (Incorporated) Chapter Seven Involuntary Bankruptcy. 

The guilty parties are predictably raising a ruckus and trying to forestall discovery of their own malfeasance, but it's too late; the so-called "Federal Judges" issuing restraining orders against Donald Trump's new Department of Government Efficiency are embarrassing themselves and providing evidence of their own complicity--- and all for naught, because the bankruptcy process will continue regardless. 

Please keep your eyes on the skies and let us know if you observe that the telltale white line patterns are disappearing.

If this is finally the end of that horrific program, we couldn't be happier -- and more curious at the same time.    When and how did the Vatican shift this activity into overdrive, and get its hands in our pockets?  Was this all part of the Do-It-Yourself end of the world narrative? 

There are several mentions in the Bible that the Earth would not be destroyed by any deluge again, but would instead be destroyed by fire.  Dumping potentially millions of tons of incendiary waste products on the Earth would be a logical help toward that end.  

We can't say at this time that all Chemtrails are gone and that the operations have been shut down at all locations --- yet; but the combination of being defunded and stoutly resisted by the living people should finally net the long-desired result.

: Apparition of Our Lady of Lourdes Tuesday, February 11, 2025 OUR LADY of LOURDES (1858) The first of the eighteen apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary to the humble Bernadette Soubirous took place at Lourdes on February 11, 1858. On March 25th, when Bernadette asked the beautiful Lady Her name, She replied: "I am the Immaculate Conception." The Church for long centuries had believed in Her Immaculate Conception, Her exemption from every trace of the original sin which through Adam, our first and common father, separated man from his God. It was never proclaimed a dogma, however, until 1854. Mary Herself, in 1830, had asked of a Vincentian Sister at the Rue du Bac in Paris, that a medal be struck bearing Her likeness and the inscription: "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee." Our Lady by Her apparitions at Lourdes in 1858 seems to convey Her appreciation for the formal proclamation of Her great privilege, by Pius IX, in 1854. Countless and magnificent miracles of healing have occurred at Lourdes, confirmed by physicians and recorded in the Lourdes shrine "Book of Life." To name but one: a doctor wrote a book describing the great miracle he had witnessed for a dying girl, whom he had observed on the train that was carrying handicapped persons from Paris to Lourdes. He had not expected her to survive and return home from the sanctuary. Through the Lourdes Apparitions, the devotion of persons in all parts of the world to the Immaculate Mother of God has been wonderfully spread, and countless miracles have been wrought everywhere through Her intercession. The Virgin Mother of God is truly the chosen Messenger of God to these latter times, which are entrusted to Her, the chosen vessel of the unique privilege of exemption from original sin. Only with Her assistance will the dangers of the present world situation be averted. As She has done since 1858 in many places, at Lourdes, too, She gave us Her peace plan for the world, through Saint Bernadette: Prayer and Penance, to save souls.

International Public Notice: DOE in Memorium

It was one of those things that should never have existed under our Constitutional system of government, but because our Federal Employees were presenting the Department of Education as a "department" within their system and pertaining to their citizenry and their version of "public"--- they got away with it.  

Just like they got away with imposing Social Security --- a Federal Employee pension program on millions of  average Americans, just like they foisted off the Federal Income Tax on millions of Americans who had no Federal Income.  They presented their "Department of Education" and got away with it, because it was supposed to pertain only to their students and their teachers and facilities they paid for.  

Just as with the examples of the Social Security and Internal Revenue, the Department of Education should have had nothing to do with the American School System--- but in fact, it usurped against and overthrew our traditional school system without firing a shot or answering a question.  

The question that we asked Jimmy Carter back in 1976 when the Federal Department of Education was taking shape was simple enough: where is your authority to form a Federal Department of Education and apply it through the entire country? 

There is no such authority delegated to any federal employee, department or agency; the Federal Constitutions left education in the hands of the parents and the unincorporated county assembly committees --- not incorporated "school districts"  or "school boards" 

Even the language introduced after the Civil War was foreign and corporate in nature. "District" as in "School District" referred to the military districts formed in 1865; our public schools in these new usurping Federal districts were unlawfully converted and placed under the administration of the illegally occupying U.S. Army and their British Territorial U.S. Citizens.   

In this way, our "Public Schools" became their "Public Schools".  Nobody mentioned which "public" was being referred to.   

Though this was very hush-hush, the confusion after the so-called Civil War hostilities, allowed Tories to take control of our public schools, colleges, and Universities, and nobody was the wiser, because then as now, the American People were simply left uninformed and kept in the dark. 

Just as we are still being self-interestedly kept in the dark now by the Trump Administration.  

We could do without all the polemics and brow-beating and partisan rhetoric; if people understood that we are going through a corporate bankruptcy audit  of the UNITED STATES Corporation, everyone would simply understand the situation, would know that the audits are required by the bankruptcy process, and stop the drama. 

Any psychological trauma imposed on the population from knowing the condition of our Municipal Subcontractors is surely pale in comparison to knowing how much of our credit was wasted on graft, payola, and utter insanity divorced from reality.  

Community Schools sponsored by local county assemblies were replaced by school districts and school boards, as elected incorporated boards of directors ran for political rather than public offices and deceived the trusting American public.  

An era of unprecedented pillaging and plundering of education budgets took rapid hold, the National Education Association and other teacher Unions bulked up to push universal guaranteed tenure no matter how abysmal teacher job performance might be, the federal paper-pushers descended like a great flock of harpies attaching conditions and quid pro quos to every federal dollar and imposing regulations and enforcement procedures to match. 

Payola and regimen became the goal rather than teaching and learning with the result that student test scores nose-dived and have continued to nose-dive every year since the federal Department of Education has been in existence.  Every single year.  Yet, education is such a sacred cow in political circles that nobody -- until now -- stopped to think: this isn't working.  We are wasting our money. 

Imagine that?  Over $500 Billion a year spent and nothing but a hangover and horrible test scores to show for it.  

Besides fostering abject incompetence, education under the guidance of the federal Department of Education has become politicized, a feral breeding ground for every whack-job theory and fad that a lazy, self-satisfied, and highly entitled academic caste could dream up. 

In 1976 when Mr. Carter created his new federal Department of Education, we looked at each other in wonderment.  Was it possible that Mr. Carter couldn't read the plain and simple terms of his service contract?  Where did he find a single word in either The Constitution of the United States or The Constitution of the United States, either one, remotely suggesting a role for the federal government in education?  

No such role exists.  

One must assume then, that the Corporations involved were spending their own money, correct?  But no; they were, as usual, not only accessing our credit under False Pretenses, but spending our credit on unauthorized activities of all kinds --- including the totally unauthorized federal Department of Education, which is now mercifully ended.

Jimmy Carter died recently at a ripe old age and has been spared seeing his "legacy" destroyed, though of course it will live on for several generations in the form of people who can't think, spell, do simple arithmetic, or string words together into an intelligible sentence. 

Whatever Mr. Carter thought he was doing to "standardize" education in America, he only succeeded in finding the bottom of the basement of the lowest common denominator and celebrating this as a victory.  We can only hope that good intentions and creativity can make up the losses for two generations of American students and that from now on, "Presidents" will be able to read their own service contracts.

It's Official: The American Federation Dollar is Launched

After almost two decades of work, our new American currency has been launched.  It's the beginning of a new way of doing business and a new way of living life for those lucky enough to catch the train instead of Covid 19.

We are all familiar with the saying, "Put your money where your mouth is."  We go one step beyond that, and say, "Put your money where your heart is." 

If you are sickened by the criminal behavior of the so-called government service corporations, if you don't want your money used to blow up little kids in Palestine, or pay for poisonous "gene therapies" at home, it's time to issue your own money and come back home to your land and soil.  

If you are tired of paying the debts of foreign corporations and putting up with their fraud and malfeasance, their arbitrary, politically motivated coercion, their invasion of your privacy, their misuse of your credit, and their usurpation against your Constitutional Guarantees, it's time to come home and remember who you are.

You are not, in all likelihood, a British Territorial U.S. Citizen, but the King is misrepresenting you as his Subject just the same,  and the Federal Reserve considers you their slave.

International Public Notice: The Choice is Yours

There are many ways that the Federal Reserve has stolen money from our people under False Pretenses, and they have been protected and encouraged in this by our British Territorial Subcontractor --- the governmental services corporation calling itself "the United States of America, Incorporated".  

The Federal Reserve is a cartel of mostly European banks that loan their brand of money--- literally---- to our foreign subcontractors, the Brits.  

Donald Trump is the current "President" of "the United States of America, LLC" --- yet another version of a corporation that the same old miscreants have dreamed up out of thin air.   Whether enfranchised, or set up as a Limited Liability Partnership, it makes no difference.  They are still a British operation, based out of London.

Right now, they are overseeing the dissolution of the Pope's Municipal Corporation, which had been doing business as the UNITED STATES (also Incorporated) until it filed Chapter 7, Involuntary Bankruptcy ten years ago.  

What we are seeing in Washington, DC, right now --- is the totally predictable and obligatory audit of all the departments and agencies of the former UNITED STATES corporation.   

There isn't any vengeance, any salvation, nor any rescue implied. 

Except for the mind-boggling size of the bankrupt entity, there is nothing unusual about what is going on.  Nothing at all.  The staggering amount of graft and misappropriation and theft and embezzlement and other financial crimes that are being discovered in the process is unusual, but the process itself is totally routine.  

Like a travelling show folding up its tents, they are rolling up the bits and pieces of the former UNITED STATES corporation, auditing them, and making decisions as the Receivers about what to keep, what to throw out, and what to reorganize.  So far, they've managed

to audit one percent of what they have to ultimately audit, and found billions upon billions of dollars wasted, misdirected, and plain vanished.  

The gross mismanagement will have other consequences. People will go to jail over this, but never mind; Mr. Trump doesn't have any choice about that, either. 

No amount of rioting or "orders" from defunded courts or anything else will stop this.  This is part of what they mean when they keep saying, "Nothing can stop it." 

They are right.  Nothing can stop it.  Any attempt to interfere in the work of the bankruptcy court will just get kicked to the curb and they will keep right on rolling, because this is a corporation like any other corporation, and it is bankrupt.  

So you can all stop being alarmed and all the breast-beating and politicking can stop.  Every nasty jot of every purloined dollar, every pork barrel project, all of it, is going to come out and be aired like truly dirty laundry. 

There is nothing about this process that is mysterious, or partisan, or avoidable.  No use blaming Mr. Trump.  If it wasn't Trump, it would be some guy named Johnson, Smith, Turner or Finkelstein. 

The Federal Reserve is just another part of the machine that will be audited, though they planned ahead and cleaned up most of their dirty laundry during their own separate bankruptcy back in 2009.  That action guarantees that the people of this country won't get to see all the skullduggery the FED pulled prior to that; it won't be addressed as part of this bankruptcy, because it was already addressed in the prior FED bankruptcy.  

You never heard about that, either, did you?  The fact is that there have been many such bankruptcies over the past 160 years and the Perpetrators always try to keep it secret from the American People, who are studiously kept in the dark by all these "Presidents" of foreign corporations merely named after our Union of sovereign nation-states and our Federation of States of the Union.  

Duty, due diligence, and reasonable and customary practice would dictate that they tell their employers when they go bankrupt, but they never do.  They always hush it up and say, "Tush, tush, it's a private matter...." even though it has a disastrous impact on their Employers, who they name as Secondaries responsible for paying their debts. 

Behind our backs. 

That's how they dump all their spending on the  American people.  

That's why they don't care how much they spend or how they spend it. 

The Brits, acting as Collaborators of this grotesque fraud scheme, step forward as our "representatives" and collect the assets and act as the Receivers, when in fact, we, the American Government, are the actual owners of everything in sight and should be the Receivers, instead. 

We never agreed to any of this and never would, so we are no fun for these reprobates to play with. 

Mr. Trump will do the nasty clean-up job, which will occupy the better part of a decade.  The Brits will try to pretend that we are their "Citizens" and that we are obligated to act as loyal British Subjects; we will tell them to stick it in their ear and bring the evidence. 

They won't want to do that, because all they have is an unconscionable contract foisted off on a little baby in its cradle, and whatever adhesion contracts they were able to mislead and coerce people into after the fact.  

The conclusion that we have been defrauded and misrepresented by our own Employees and that our country has been illegally occupied for 160-plus years by our own unlawfully converted military, will come forcefully to light, no matter how the guilty parties try to keep it secret and spin the narrative. 

The Big Thing that will inevitably come home to our people and to our employees is just how sinfully and criminally mismanaged everything has been.  And all the many ways that the innocent employers, the people of this country, have been made to pay for it, will also be evident. 

Auditing the FED will be comparatively disappointing, as they have already done their house cleaning after the Big Short on Wall Street in 2007.  That doesn't mean the FED is clean; far from it.  What it means is that the FED is smarter than the average rat and already cleaned their books and shredded their most damning records more than a decade ago. 

Too bad for them that, as explained in our book, "Blood Money", they have been engaged in a system that is criminal by definition, and which depends upon both peonage and slavery.  

Today, Americans and other people throughout the world have a choice.  You can continue to trust your lives and wealth and welfare to these crooks, or you can come home and take the responsibility for running your own country.  If listening to the endless reports of gross financial crimes is already making you sick to your stomach, you have a choice.  You don't have to pay for it or put up with this anymore.

EPISTLE (Col. III. 12-17.) Brethren, put ye on, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, the bowels of mercy, benignity, humility, modesty, patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if any have a complaint against another; even as the Lord hath forgiven you, so you also. But above all these things, have charity, which is the bond of perfection: and let the peace of Christ rejoice in your hearts, wherein also you are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you abundantly, in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another, in psalms, hymns, and spiritual canticles, singing in grace in your hearts to God. All whatsoever you do in word or in work, all things, do ye in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God and the Father through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Why does St. Paul call charity the bond of perfection?

Because charity comprises in itself and links all the virtues in which perfection consists. For whoever truly loves God and his neighbor, is also good, merciful, humble, modest, patiently bears the weakness of his neighbor, willingly forgives offences, in a word, practices all virtues for the sake of charity.

When does the peace of God rejoice in our hearts?

When we have learned to conquer our evil inclinations, passions, and desires, and have placed order and quiet in our hearts instead. This peace then, like a queen, keeps all the wishes of the soul in harmony, and causes us to enjoy constant peace with our neighbor, and thus serve Christ in concord, as the members of one body serve the head. The best means of preserving this peace are earnest attention to the word of God, mutual imparting of pious exhortations and admonitions, and by singing hymns, psalms, and spiritual canticles.

Why should we do all in the name of Jesus?

Because only then can our works have real worth in the sight of God, and be pleasing to Him, when they are performed for love of Jesus, in His honor, in accordance with His spirit and will. Therefore the apostle admonishes us to do all things, eat, drink, sleep, work &c. in the name of Jesus, and so honor God, the Heavenly Father, and show our gratitude to Him. Oh, how grieved will they be on their death-bed who have neglected to offer God their daily work by a good intention, then they will see, when too late, how deficient they are in meritorious deeds. On the contrary they will rejoice whose consciences testify, that in all their actions they had in view only the will and the honor of God! Would that this might be taken to heart especially by those who have to earn their bread with difficulty and in distress, that they might always unite their hardships and trials with the sufferings and merits of Jesus, offering them to the Heavenly Father, and thus imitating Christ who had no other motive than the will and the glory of His Heavenly Father.

ASPIRATION O God of love, of patience, and of mercy, turn our hearts to the sincere love of our neighbor, and grant, that whatever we do in thoughts, words and actions, we may do in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and through Him render thanks to Thee.

ON CHURCH SINGING

"Admonish one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual canticles, singing in grade in your hearts to God." (Col. III. 16.)

The custom of singing in the Church-choir* has its foundation as far back as the Old Testament, when by the arrangement of David, Solomon, and Ezechias, the psalms and other sacred canticles were sung by the priests and Levites. This custom the Catholic Church has retained, according to the precepts of the apostles, (I. Cor. XIV. 26; Eph. V. 19.) and the example of Jesus who, after they had eaten the Pasch, intoned a hymn of praise with His apostles, Matt XXVI. 30) that Christians on earth, like the angels and saints in heaven, (Apoc. V. 8. 9., XIV. 3.) who unceasingly sing His praises, might at certain hours of the day, at least, give praise and thanks to God. In the earliest ages of the Church, the Christians sang hymns of praise and thanksgiving during the holy Sacrifice and other devotional services, often continuing them throughout the whole night; in which case the choir-singers probably were bound to keep the singing in proper order and agreement. In the course of time this custom of all the faithful present singing together ceased in many churches, and became confined to the choir, which was accompanied later by instruments in accordance with the words of David who calls to the praise of the Lord with trumpets, with timbrels, with pleasant psaltery and harps. (Ps, CL. 3, 4., LXXX. 3. 4.) In many churches, where the faithful still sing in concert, if done with pure hearts and true devotion, it is as St. Basil says, “a heavenly occupation, a spiritual burnt offering; it enlightens the spirit, raises it towards heaven, leads man to communion with God, makes the soul rejoice, ends idle talk, puts away laughter, reminds us of the judgment, reconciles enemies. Where the singing of songs resounds' from the contrite heart there God with the angels is present."

*The choir is usually a gallery in the Church in which the singers are stationed; the place where the clergy sing or recite their office, is also called the choir.

GOSPEL (Matt. XIII. 24-30,) At that time, Jesus spoke this parable to the multitudes: The kingdom of heaven is likened to a man that sowed good seed in his field. But while men were asleep, his enemy came, and oversowed cockle among the wheat, and went his way. And when the blade was sprung up, and had brought forth fruit, then appeared also the cockle. And the servants of the good man of the house coming, said to him: Sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? whence, then, hath it cockle? And he said to them: An enemy bath done this. And the servants said to him: Wilt thou that we go and gather it up? And he said: No, lest perhaps, gathering up the cockle, you root up the wheat also together with it. Suffer both to grow until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers: Gather up first the cockle, and bind it into bundles to burn, but the wheat gather ye into my barn.

What is understood by the kingdom of heaven ?

The Church of God, or the collection of all orthodox Christians on earth, destined for heaven.

What is meant by the good seed, and by the cockle?

The good seed, as Christ Himself says, (Matt. XIII. 38.) signifies the children of the kingdom, that is, the true Christians, the living members of the Church, who being converted by the word of God sown into their hearts become children of God, and bring forth the fruit of good works. The cockle means the children of iniquity, of the devil, that is, those who do evil; also every wrong, false doctrine which leads men to evil.

Who sows the good seed, and by the cockle?

The good seed is sown by Jesus, the Son of Man not only directly, but through His apostles, and the priests, their successors; the evil seed is sown by the devil, or by wicked men whom he uses as his tools.

Who are the men who were asleep?

Those superiors in the Church; those bishops and pastors who take no care of their flock, and do not warn them against seduction, when the devil comes and by wicked men sows the cockle of erroneous doctrine and of crime; and those men who are careless and neglect to hear the word of God and the sacrifice of the Mass, who neglect to pray, and do not receive the Sacraments. In the souls of such the devil sows the seeds of bad thoughts, evil imaginations and desires, from which spring, later, the cockle of pride, impurity, anger, envy, avarice, etc.

Why does not God allow the cockle, that is, the wicked people, to be rooted out and destroyed?

Because of His patience and long suffering towards the sinner to whom He gives time for repentance, and because of His love for the just from whom He would not, by weeding out the unjust, take away the occasion of practicing virtue and gathering up merits for themselves; for because of the unjust, the just have numerous opportunities to exercise patience, humility, etc.

When is the time of the harvest?

The day of the last judgment when the reapers, that is, the angels, will go out and separate the wicked from the just, and throw the wicked into the fiery furnace; while the just will be taken into everlasting joy. (Matt. XIII. 29.)

PRAYER O faithful Jesus, Thou great lover of our souls, who hast sown the good seed of Thy Divine Word in our hearts, grant that it may be productive, and bear in us fruit for eternal life; protect us from our evil enemy, that he may not sow his erroneous and false doctrine in our hearts, and corrupt the good; preserve us from the sleep of sin, and sloth that we may remain always vigilant and armed against the temptations of the world, the flesh, and the devil, overcome them manfully, and die a happy death. Amen.

ON INCLINATION TO EVIL

Whence then hath it cockle? (Matt. XIII. 27.)

Whence comes the inclination to evil in man?

It is the sad consequence of original sin, that is, of that sin which our first parents, by their disobedience, committed in paradise, and which we as their descendants have inherited. This inclination to evil remains even in those who have been baptized, although original sin with its guilt and eternal punishment is taken away in baptism, but it is no sin so long as man does not voluntarily yield. (Cat. Rom. Part. II. 2. .43.)

Why, the sin being removed, does the inclination remain?

To humble us that we may know our frailty and misery, and have recourse to God, our best and most powerful Father, as did St. Paul, when he was much annoyed by the devil of the flesh; (II. Cor. XII. 7. 8.) that the glory of God and the power of Christ should be manifested in us, which except for our weakness could not be; that we might have occasion to fight and to conquer. A soldier cannot battle without opposition, nor win victory and the crown without a contest. Nor can we win the heavenly crown, if no occasion is given us, by temptations, for fight and for victory. "That which tries the combatant," says St. Bernard, "crowns the conqueror." Finally, the inclination remains, that we may learn to endure, in all meekness, the faults and infirmities of others and to watch ourselves, lest we fall into the same temptations.
