Apparently, from recent remarks, Donald Trump doesn't recognize Colonialism even when it is shoved up his nose. The same Corporatists that Mr. Trump calls "Globalists" are actually just plain old-fashioned Colonialists on steroids, operating in a different jurisdiction of the law. Here's how it works:
Colonialism on land.
Corporatism on the sea.
Globalism in the jurisdiction of the air.
And it's all the same thing: legalized inland piracy.
Their modus operandi is always the same, whatever jurisdiction they are operating in.
They pretend that they are helping when they are hurting. They pretend to benefit people (and entire countries) while they are in fact using them. They recklessly destroy, pillage and pollute for profit -- their own profit, nobody else's. And when they can't buy the leadership of a targeted country off, they threaten and bully and try to get their way like two year-olds with a hammer.
What's going on in Burkina Faso and other parts of Africa is typical. Text book.
African leader stands up and dares to tell the truth, and he is branded as reckless and ignorant. African leaders (plural) try to form a Union of nation-states and establish a common currency --- where have we heard of that before? Yet Senate Republicans, hypocrites to the bone, want to denounce Africa for doing what we did ourselves over 200 years ago.
Everyone, hold your noses. It gets worse.
Donald Trump says that America has spent billions and billions in Africa, but his own Department of Government Efficiency knows and has already admitted that only 2% of those "billions and billions" in "Foreign Aid" ever got to Africa or any other foreign destination. 98% was being siphoned off to fund Black Ops and grease political agendas right here in America.
And Donald Trump knows this. He knows that all those "billions and billions" never made it to Africa. He knows the answer to the questions he's been asked --- if you spent "billions and billions" why are we still going without food and water and decent sanitation? Where's our share of the gold, oil, and rare earth minerals you have extracted from our country? If you spent all these billions, where are the new schools and hospitals, the roads and bridges?
They don't exist because Foreign Aid itself was a myth, a lie, an excuse used to cover billions in criminal fraud and embezzlement.
The same foreign corporations that have been stealing us blind under color of law, the same ones that have been illegally occupying our country since 1861 --- the American version of the British Raj, are the same ones pretending that they don't know what Colonialism is, when they are standing up to their eyeballs in its cruelty and injustice and corruption ---- and participating in it and profiting themselves from it.
A rose by any other name may smell as sweet, but Colonialism whether you call it that or not, has the same familiar reek, the same arrogance, the same lies, the same excuses.
Turn up your Shinola Sensors and learn to recognize Colonialism for what it is and no matter what new name they attach to it. Learn how it came to be practiced--- and why it is still being practiced-- right here in America.
