Get your guns, then put you in jail. That is what he wants.

How long will it be until he says something like, well, we just can't afford to keep all these people in jail, so we have to get rid of them.

They know that juries can stop their lawlessness! So they want to eliminate the whole messy thing of a trial, and a jury, and just be able to put you away at their whim.

The founders would have been done by now!

Rand Paul blows it again!

Rand Paul is supporting this amendment to NDAA that falls far short of fixing the problem.
In fact it might make things worse by muddying the water legally.

"This week I took to the Senate floor to voice my support for an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) sponsored by Sens. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Mike Lee (R-Utah).

"The amendment would invoke the Sixth Amendment of the Constitution with regard to indefinite detention of American citizens. I indicated my intention to push for a vote on this amendment and has threatened to filibuster the NDAA bill until a vote is granted.
