We are concerned. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) appears to believe that such beings as "sovereign citizens" exist.
A citizen who is, by definition, obligated to serve a government, cannot at the same time rule over it.
Think about it.
Our actual government guarantees everyone freedom of belief, conscience, and peaceable religious practice. We guarantee all religions equal protection.
So long as you aren't running around killing people in the name of your favorite pink unicorn, we could care less.
We don't care about what consenting adults do in their bedrooms.
We don't mandate anything about your health, public or otherwise.
We don't poke our noses into your finances or tell you what breakfast cereal to eat.
We are here to protect the living people and their assets and that is all we are here to do. Otherwise, we leave you alone.
If more people understand that, more people can receive better protection of their property and their natural, unalienable rights.
Like free speech--- even if you are using oxymorons. If you want to look ignorant, that's your business.
In the same way....
When it's peacetime, we fly the peace flag.
When it's wartime, we fly the war flag.
So, ask yourselves -- when is the last time that any version of Congress actually issued a Declaration of War?
Potentially, you've got six different Congresses to choose from.
Maybe ADL got a Special Memo, but so far as we know, this country is at peace and ought to be flying the peacetime flag.
We know the various Presidents "declare war" every two years, but we also know that Presidents have no authority to declare wars.
That's why these Presidents always declare something stupid, like "War on Hemorrhoids!" ----right after they've bought a controlling interest in Tuck's Medicated Pads.
So flying the peacetime flag isn't a political issue. It's a factual issue.
