Answering the question, 'why are we seeing so many shootings' for me, is quite easy. As I've watched so many decades pass by, its so easy for me to see from whence our nation has fallen.
ReplyDeleteThe other day I read a recent survey which sheds much light on this question: Back in 1776 98% of people were avid churchgoers, dedicated and it brought much cohesiveness among the population. It was as much of daily life as mealtime was.
Today, that has been reduced to about 20% and of that number, most are proven to be disbelievers. As that rate has dropped, thousands of churches have closed their doors due to lack of attendees which resulted in lack of funds. Now churches are closing at the rate of about 100 per week.
There is a clear indication that as older generations who were the avid attendees, died off, and the past two generations have arrived, they as sadly lacking in their giving any heed to God.
Therein lies the 'answer to the initial question'.
