Blessed are the Peacemakers... White Hope Mine Update

by Paul Stramer

The national Oath Keepers organization does a marvelous job of making peace come out of some very touchy and dangerous situations, where corporate mercenary entities masquerading as government agencies, with 3 or 4 letters on their backs, are trying to administratively (and other ways) steam roll Americans and trample their God given rights guaranteed by the Constitution.

I am very pleased that I have been able to be a part of those Peacemaking actions for freedom!

I would go with the Oath Keepers on another operation in a heart beat.

In Nevada tensions were high when I arrived. Over a period of about a week, and after the BLM packed up and marched in formation backwards out of the area, the peace gradually prevailed, and clear thinking individuals became aware that a line had been drawn in the sand between an out of control corporate entity calling itself an agency of the federal government, and the American people in general, and Cliven Bundy and his family in particular. That line of peace seems to be holding for the moment, but what has really been won for freedom at this juncture?  Is it really peace or a stalemate?

In Grants Pass Oregon, once again, the Oath Keepers did a wonderful job of exposing the truth about the BLM and their dirty work, and by standing fast for many weeks, brought peace and a pathway for some miners, out of a troubled situation and into a "court". The line in the sand became a moat full of alligators for the BLM, and once again I was glad to be there, but what has been actually won, besides another expensive trip through another corporate tribunal calling itself a 'federal court' ?

And now we have yet another pathway to peace from a troubling situation in Lincoln Montana with the White Hope Mine, and Intermountain Mining LLC, and once again the national Oath Keepers stood and took the heat, and made peace prevail, and provided a way to get two miners their day in court. I was there for over a month without a break, and I am very glad to have been there, but once again, what has actually been won at this point?

After Action Report - Operation Big Sky - White Hope Mine in Lincoln Montana

I am back in Eureka after 1 month and 4 days in Lincoln Montana at Operation Big Sky, the security operation for the White Hope Mine, where George Kornec and his partner Phil Nappo, asked the Oathkeepers to come and make sure the US Forest Service didn't deny them their due process rights under the 4th and 5th Amendments to the US Constitution.

My role was to establish communications from a very remote mining location, far off the grid and without any telephone or cell service, and to make sure those comms stayed up and running 24/7 while we were in the area. The challenge was daunting. The only power available at the mine was solar, or by generator. The distance between the mine and Lincoln is about 20 miles, but the terrain is difficult to say the least. The mine sits in a big bowl with mountains in 3 directions around it, and only one narrow V pathway out, which was in the general direction of Lincoln but not a straight shot for signal.

I picked the Three Bears Motel in the west end of Lincoln because I saw there could be a signal pathway right down the highway through Lincoln which pointed in the general direction of the mine.  I rented the room closest to the highway, and went to the mine that night to set up a portable base station for the security crew already on station just 150 feet from the entrance to the mine's main shaft.

Update on the White Hope Mine, and Operation Big Sky

Hey everyone,  I am still in Lincoln after arriving on August 4th.
It's been a wild ride with something new almost every day.  Many people have come from around the country to help for a short time, and have gone again.

We have had people from Texas, South Carolina, Oregon, Washington,Colorado, many from Idaho and Montana, and probably more states that I don't know about.

We have accomplished many of the objectives we came here for. There is a pathway now in the corporate tribunal that calls itself the federal court system. There are attorneys involved and advisers with some very specialized knowledge of mining laws involved. If it were not for Oathkeepers leading this action there could have been some very ugly actions taken against these veterans and miners, and we feel we stopped that cold in it's tracks. We have had lots of help from the Idaho III% groups and the Josephine County Oathkeepers.

It has truly been an honor to meet some great people and see again some of the people who were at the Bundy ranch and the Sugar Pine mine.

Of course there are many incidents going on around the country; too many for us to be at all of them, but you can be sure we will always do whatever we can to stand for truth, and good order, where we can make sense out of some bad situations, and where we see we can do some real good for freedom.

We have had lots of local support in the last two weeks from people who at first were not at all sure of who we are and what we do to protect their rights.  That has all changed, except in the minds of the liberals in the area, who won't believe it even when their leftist good ole boy club is losing all it's power when the people get fully awake very soon.

More about all that in a future after action report once I get home.

In the meantime, we still need your support, as it looks like it could easily be almost two weeks yet before we come home to rest and get ready for the next one. Yes there are more hot spots popping up around the country where we will be needed.

We got great support from some local hams. K7LMT Bill Kornec, the nephew of George Kornec, the principle miner, has been invaluable as an anchor station, and in many other ways helping smooth the path with the locals. He comes to our 1.914 net every so often, and so does K7WES Wes Rowe, who donated a five element 2 meter beam that really helped our communications effectiveness between here and the mine.

We also have a great working relationship with the people who own the Three Bears Motel where I have been since the beginning. Kevin and Louanne Minear have been the most gracious of hosts, and we even have been able to meet and visit at length with Louanne's parents who are here for about 30 days staying in their motorhome.

I picked this Motel because I thought I could get a good signal into the mine from here, and that turns out to be the case. Of course the heavy smoke in the air from the fire between here and the mine sometimes partially disrupts the signal but we can still talk.  Hey, if it ain't broke don't fix it, right?

We still need some people to relieve the guys at the mine, so if you can do some security work, and are equipped and experienced with those operations please come and help us for a few days. If you can't do that, you can always throw a few bucks in the kitty to help us.

To contribute to the communications part of this:

To help reimburse the guys for gas and eats:

And finally we have the new donation button for the Miners legal defense fund that goes directly to their bank in Lincoln Montana.

Donations needed for communications at Operation Big Sky - White Hope Mine

Please forward far and wide.

BREAKING ARMED PATRIOTS IN MONTANA FULL STORY! PEACEFUL!

We are in need here at Operation Big Sky of logistical support for the communications end of this operation.

If you can't come here and help there is a link to donate in this email.

I will be here as long as it takes to get these miners their day in court
or until I can't afford to stay.

So far we have set up and have in operation solid communications links with the mine and in town to run the whole operation including LED lights for the crew at the mine, which is entirely off grid,
and both local and long range comm for the teams.

My cell number is 406 253 4257 if you have any questions before you decide how you want to help out. I will not reveal any operational information, but will give you a general idea of what we would like to do in the way of equipment.

These two miners have their ducks in a row and are absolutely right with
their paper work and the rights that are being violated. Their interests in this mine have been in place for many years, just as were Cliven Bundy's and the rights of the miners in Grants Pass.

This is for all of us. This is just another in a long fight to keep our
country free and in good order.

This donation link is for my equipment, motel, gas, and food and keeping the bills paid back in Eureka so I can continue to stay here in Lincoln.  Whatever you can do
will help ease the burden on Oathkeepers, and will allow me to improve comm security and training. Just the continuous training and the trips back and forth from town to the mine are a challenge.

Click this link to donate through PayPal to the communications end of this operation.

We need licensed hams to run comm out of the mine. We have a good basic system but not enough people who have ham licenses to have shifts. These guys are staying up for days to make sure we have comm 24/7 for security, and I haven't gotten a lot of sleep in the last several days either.

Call for more info.
