Second Sunday of Advent - From Explanation of the Epistles and Gospels by Fr. Leonard Goffine.1875

On this day the Church not only makes mention in the office of the priest, but also in the Mass, of the two different Advents of Christ, that by His first gracious advent may be gladdened, and by His last terrible coming at the day of judgment we may be impressed with salutary fear. With this intention she cries out at the Introit:

INTROIT: People of Sion, behold the Lord shall come to save the nations; and the Lord shall make the glory of his voice to be heard in the joy of your heart (Is. 30:30). Give ear, O thou that rulest Israel: thou that leadest Joseph like a sheep (Ps. 79). Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

COLLECT: Stir up our hearts, O Lord, to prepare the ways of Thine only-begotten Son: that through His advent we may be worthy to serve Thee with purified minds; who livest and reignest with God the Father, in union with the Holy Ghost, God for ever and ever. Amen.

EPISTLE: (Rom. 15:4-13). Brethren, what things soever were written, were written for our learning, that through patience and the comfort of the scriptures, we might have hope. Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of one mind one towards another, according to Jesus Christ: that with one mind, and with one mouth, you may glorify God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Wherefore receive one another, as Christ also hath received you unto the honor of God. For I say that Christ Jesus was minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers. But that the Gentiles are to glorify God for his mercy, as it is written: Therefore will I confess to thee, O Lord, among the Gentiles, and will sing to thy name. And again he saith: Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people. And again: Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles, and magnify him, all ye people. And again, Isaias saith: There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise up to rule the Gentiles, in him the Gentiles shall hope. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, and in the power of the Holy Ghost.

What does St. Paul teach in this epistle?


The Jews and Gentiles who had been converted to the Christian faith were disputing among themselves at Rome, in regard to abstinence and the use of certain kinds of food, reproaching each other severely; the Jews boasted that the Savior, according to promise, was born of their nation, thus claiming Him from the Gentiles, who, in their turn, reproached the Jews for their ingratitude in having crucified Him. To restore harmony St. Paul shows that each had reason, the Jews and Gentiles alike, to praise God, to whose grace and goodness they owed all; that each had in Him a Redeemer in whom they could hope for salvation; and he warns them not to deprive themselves of that hope by contentions. By these words the Apostle also teaches that we too, have great reason to praise God, and to thank Him for calling us, whose forefathers were heathens, to the Christian faith, and to guard against losing our salvation by pride, envy, impurity, etc.

Why should we read the Scriptures?

That we may know what we are to believe, and do in order to be saved, as all Scripture inspired by God is profitable to teach, to reprove, to correct, to instruct in justice (11 Tim. 3:16); that we may learn from what Christ has done for us, and the saints for Christ, to be patient in our sufferings, and to be consoled and encouraged by their example. To derive this benefit from the Scriptures, the Catholic must read them by the light of that Spirit through whose assistance they came into existence, who lives and remains for ever with the Church: that is, the light of the Holy Ghost must be sought, that their meaning may be read according to the sense of the Church and not be explained according to the reader's judgment. For he who reads the holy Scriptures by the light of his own private judgment, must, as experience shows, of necessity diverge from the right path, become entangled in manifold doubts, and at last, lose the faith entirely. For this reason the Catholic Church has very properly limited the reading of the Bible, not as has been falsely asserted, unconditionally forbidden it, but she allows the reading of those editions only, which are accompanied by notes and explanations that the unity of faith may not be disturbed, and that among Catholics there may not be the terrible bewilderment of the human intellect which has taken place among the different heretical sects who have even declared murder, bigamy and impurity to be permissible on the authority of the Bible. We are to consider also, that Christ never commanded the Bible to be written or read, and that not the readers but the hearers and the followers of the word of God by which is meant those who hear the word of God in sermons, and keep it, will be saved!

Why is God called a God of patience, of consolation, and of hope?


He is called a God of patience because He awaits our repentance, of consolation, because He gives us grace to be patient in crosses and afflictions, and so consoles us inwardly, that we become not faint-hearted; of hope, because He gives us the virtue of hope, and because He desires to be Himself the reward we are to expect after this life.

ASPIRATION: O God of patience, of consolation and of hope, fill Our hearts with peace and joy, and grant that we may become perfect in all good, and by faith, hope and charity, attain the promised salvation.

GOSPEL: (Mt. 11:2-10). At that time, when John had heard in prison the works of Christ, sending two of his disciples, he said to him: Art thou he that art to come, or do we look for another? And Jesus making answer, said to them: Go and relate to John what you have heard and seen. The blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead rise again, the poor have the gospel preached to them: and blessed is he that shall not be scandalized in me. And when they went their way, Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John, What went you out into the desert to see? a reed shaken with the wind? But what went you out to see? a man clothed in soft garments? Behold, they that are clothed in soft garments are in the houses of kings. But what went you out to see? a prophet? yea I tell you, and more than a prophet. For this is he of whom it is written, Behold, I send my Angel before thy face, who shall prepare thy way before thee.

Why was John in prison?

He was in prison, and lost his life, because he had rebuked king Herod for his adulterous marriage with his brother's wife (Mt. 14:310). Truth, as the proverb says, is certainly a very beautiful mother, but she usually bears a very ugly daughter: Hatred. St. John experienced that speaking the truth very often arouses hatred and enmity against the speaker. Let us learn from him to speak the truth always, when duty requires it, even if it brings upon us the greatest misfortunes, for, if with St. John we patiently bear persecution, with St. John we shall become martyrs for truth.

Why did St. John send his disciples to Christ?

That they should learn from Christ, who had become illustrious by His teachings and miracles, that He was really the promised Messiah, the Savior of the world, whom they should follow.

Why did Christ say to the disciples of St. John: "Go and say to John, the blind see, the lame walk, etc."?

That they should, by His miracles, judge Him to be the Messiah because the prophets had predicted that He would work such miracles (Is. 35:5-6). "Christ," says St. Cyril, "proved that He was the Messiah by the grandeur as well as by the number of His miracles."


Why does Christ add: "And blessed is he who shall not be scandalized in me"?

Christ used these words in reference to those who would be scandalized by His poverty, humility and ignominious death on the cross, and who for these reasons would doubt and despise Him, and cast Him away; though "man," as St. Gregory says, "owes all the more love to the Lord, his God, the more humiliations He has borne for him."

What was our Lord's object in the questions He asked concerning St. John?

His object was to remove from St. John all suspicion of failing in faith in Him; and to praise the perseverance with which, although imprisoned and threatened with death, he continued to fill his office of preacher, thus constituting him an example to all preachers, confessors and superiors, that they may never be deterred by human respect, or fear of man, or other temporal considerations, from courageously fulfilling their duties. Our Lord commended also rigorous penance, exhibited by St. John's coarse garments and simple food, that we may learn, from his example, penance and mortification.

Why does Christ say that John was "more than a prophet"?

Because St. John was foretold by the prophet Malachias as was no other prophet; because of all the prophets he was the only one who with his own eyes saw Christ and could point Him out, and was the one to baptize Him: and because like an angel, a messenger of God, he announced the coming of the Savior, and prepared the way for the Lord.

How did St. John prepare the way for the Savior?

By his sermons on penance, and by his own penitential life He endeavored to move the hearts of the Jews, that by amending their lives, they might prepare to receive the grace of the Messiah, for God will not come with His grace into our hearts if we do not prepare His way by true repentance.

ASPIRATION: O Lord Jesus, by the praise Thou didst accord to Thy forerunner St. John, for his firmness and austerities, inflame our hearts with love to imitate his steadfastness and penance, that we may never do anything to please man which may be displeasing to Thee; grant us also Thy grace that we too, like St. John, may have those who are confided to our care, instructed in the Christian doctrine.

CONSOLATION IN SUFFERING

"The God of patience and of comfort, the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing" (Rom. 15:5,13).

What gives us the greatest consolation in adversities?

The strong and fervent belief that each and every thing that happens to us, comes to us for our own good from God, and that whatever evil befalls us, is by the will or permission of God. Good things and evil, life and death, poverty and riches, are from God (Ecclus. 11:14). If we have received good things at the hand of God (Job 2:10), saith the pious job in his affliction, "why should we not receive evil?"

We should be fully convinced that without the permission of God not a single hair of our head shall perish (Lk. 21:18), much less can any other evil be done to us by man or devil (Job 1); we should have a steadfast confidence that if we ask Him, God can and will assist us in our sufferings, if it be for our salvation. Can a woman forget her infant, so as not to have pity on the son of her womb? And if she should forget, yet will not I forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee in my hands (Is. 49:15-16); we should hope for abundant reward in the future life, which we will merit by patience in our sufferings, for that which is at present momentary and light of our tribulation, worketh for us above measure exceedingly an eternal weight of glory (II Cor. 4:17); we should remember that all complaints and murmurs against the dispensation of God are useless, and lead only to harm and shame; Who hath resisted Him, and hath had peace? (Job 9:4) we should have a vivid remembrance of our sins, for which we have long since deserved the eternal punishments of hell - hence the well-known saying of St. Augustine: O Lord, here cut, here burn, but spare me in eternity. No other way leads to the kingdom of heaven than the way of the cross, which Christ Himself, His sorrowing mother, and all the saints had to tread. Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and so to enter into His glory? (Lk. 24:26) Through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God (Acts 14:21). And we should not forget that sorrows and adversities are signs of God's love, and manifest proofs of being His chosen ones. Whom the Lord loveth He chastiseth, and He scourgeth every son whom He receiveth (Heb. 12:6. compare 7-11).

PRAYER IN SORROW: O almighty, kind and merciful God! who hast said: "Call upon me in the day of trouble, I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me" (Ps. 49:15), behold relying upon Thy word, I take refuge in Thee in my trouble. Give honor to Thy name, therefore, and deliver me, if it be pleasing to Thee and beneficial for me, that all may know, Thou art our only help. Amen.

Homeland Security Or Homeland Enslavement?

By now, most readers are familiar with the story of how a Virginia couple, Michaele and Tareq Salahi, crashed the White House State Dinner last Tuesday evening. President and Mrs. Obama were entertaining Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the first official State Dinner of the new administration. The Salahis were not on the invited guest list, but were still allowed to walk right into the White House. They even had face-to-face conversations with both President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden. Photographs of the Salahis with the President and Vice President have been published in numerous newspapers and on hundreds of web sites.
I wonder if the American people are thinking this episode through? Think of it: in the post-9/11 world, a world that has invented the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), body scanners, retina readers, the Patriot Act, hundreds of laws and regulations restricting the freedoms and liberties of the American people, thousands of cameras photographing our public movements, and satellite spy devices, a couple can walk right into the White House and meet the President and Vice President without being invited!

CNN Spreads Detention Camp Disinformation

In November 2009, a computer hacker revealed the case for human-caused global warming is a deliberate fraud perpetuated by unethical scientists employed by the United Nations Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The emails show clearly that this group of unscrupulous but powerful people modified the world's temperature data, deleted the raw data, made sloppy climate models and co-opted the scientific review process so as to silence their opponents.

No longer can governments, politicians, universities, scientific organizations and the general public accept the IPCC as the authoritative voice on Climate Change.

Complicit in this fraud are the majority of our self-serving politicians; presidents of both parties; mainstream media; large corporations; national laboratories; universities where global warming has become an institutional religion; well-funded environmental organizations; brainwashed activists; government bureaucrats; and state and local politicians who support the United Nations Sustainability and Smart Growth programs in over 500 cities in America.

The information, as it has been exposed, destroys the basis for alarmist claims based on IPCC reports. It invalidates government actions, scientific organization statements, federal and state laws, bogus carbon credits, ill-described carbon footprints, promotions of carbon sequestration, inaccurate school textbooks, overhyped college and university courses, all courtroom testimony, sustainability and smart growth actions, and land and water confiscations based on the assumption that the IPCC spoke the truth.

The underlying problems are still not being addressed. The US government and the Fed cannot bail out banking, Wall Street, insurance and government indefinitely via monetization. Impaired corporations, no matter what their size, have to be allowed to fail. Stimulus cannot be used indefinitely. Both have to be reigned in, because the longer this charade continues the worse the final outcome is going to be. As we predicted six year's ago, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae and FHA are the wards of American taxpayers, as is AIG. All their financial conditions worsen every day. They have again been insuring subprime mortgages by the thousands and when they begin to reset next year, we will be back to 60% failure rates.

The system cannot stand such a withdrawal of funds. They also must depend on assistance from Congress in supplying a second stimulus plan. That would probably be $400 to $800 billion. A lack of such funding would send the economy and the stock market into a tailspin. Even with such funding the economy cannot expect any growth to speak of and at best a sideways movement for perhaps a year.

As you can see, the Illuminist program is going to come quicker than we anticipated. That in part is because they have had to expedite their program, due to exposure in the IF, other publications and especially via talk ratio and the Internet. There is no doubt we have the elitists on the run.

We are reaching the masses. On TalkStreamLive.com we were on the Rumor Mill this past week and out of 50 talk radio programs we were 5th behind, Rush, Hannity, Dr. Laura and we were tied with Beck. On the Sovereign Economist on Wednesday night we were 5th behind Beck and Savage and ahead of Hannity. Both these programs are not well known and the Sovereign Economist is only about a month old. It shows you what you can do if you work hard enough at it.

The latest favorable events we are told are the seeds of recovery. The green-shoots of spring are to be harvested before winter sets in. We are skeptical of the strength and duration of such a recovery.

The underlying problems are still not being addressed. The US government and the Fed cannot bail out banking, Wall Street, insurance and government indefinitely via monetization. Impaired corporations, no matter what their size, have to be allowed to fail. Stimulus cannot be used indefinitely. Both have to be reigned in, because the longer this charade continues the worse the final outcome is going to be. As we predicted six year�s ago, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae and FHA are the wards of American taxpayers, as is AIG. All their financial conditions worsen every day. They have again been insuring subprime mortgages by the thousands and when they begin to reset next year, we will be back to 60% failure rates. Even government admits already they�ll see 20% failure rates. This, so that housing inventory can be cut from 11-1/2-months inventory to 7-months, again in order to bail out the lenders at the expense of taxpayers. Government and the Fed have no exit plans for these sinking ships, particularly Fannie, Freddie, Ginnie and FHA, never mind their meddling in the economy guaranteeing everything is sight. Benito Mussolini would be very proud of what they have done.

Then we have those on Wall Street, banking and corporate America who believe they are doing God�s work by looting the American public making outrageous profits by in part using taxpayer funds, and allotting themselves disgraceful bonuses as unemployment hovers at 22.2%. Haven't these people heard of the French Revolution?Their arrogance has no bounds. The credit crisis hasn't ended; the Fed has extended it by throwing money at problems. We have a mortgage market that is worse than it was a year ago, only kept from sinking by a tax credit 3% down. As a result now we have more than $1 trillion of new mortgage failures on the way.

Our monetary base has more than doubled. Interest rates will probably stay where they are for 18 months or more and we even have a dollar carry trade. The 2009 fiscal budget deficit was $1.5 trillion and 2010 will be worse. Government is not cutting expenses. They are increasing expenses.

In addition making matters worse corruption is flourishing via the incestuous revolving door between Wall Street, the Treasury, in a multiplicity of other appointments and with the Fed. Is it any wonder 75% of Americans want the Fed audited and investigated. That said, the present set of circumstances cannot be allowed to go on indefinitely.We cannot keep insurance, Wall Street and banking on life support forever. Not when we finance two occupations and an ongoing war, never mind our unfunded liabilities of Medicare, Social Security, etc. most all of these problems are being financed by debt to be paid by our great, great grandchildren. We just created $12.7 trillion for bailouts and the Inspector General tells us we are presently on the hook for $23.7 trillion. What happens if all the recipients need another $20 trillion?

The situation is still dire and the solution is temporary and unworkable and Washington and New York are well aware of this. The game will play out over the next few years. In the meantime the dollar will move lower and inflation, gold and silver higher.

Economics is not complex; it is very simple. Professors and economists would like to have you believe it is complicated when in fact they make it opaque, so you cannot understand it. The same is true with banking. In normal times through the century's bankers using the fractional banking system usually lent 8 times their assets, or deposits. It was only until recently that the privately owned Federal Reserve told banks within the system to lend 40 times assets or more in order to accommodate the system.

All this is to cover to confuse and hide the truth of fractional banking. Bankers indebt borrowers with money they made up out of thin air. Debt is enslavement by the bankers upon the people by buying almost everyone off. In the final analysis banking is a fraud unless money is interest free. The Fed, and all the other banks are a fraud.

The game as we know it today began in 1694 when the Rothschild's formed the privately owned Bank of England and the production of bank notes began and circulated along with sterling silver coins. The end result has been that the bankers own the world. The system today is based on confidence and trust, something that has been worn thin. A reflection of the loss of trust and confidence is that 75% to 80% of Americans want HR1207 and S604 passed by Congress, so that the Fed can be audited and investigated. The public no longer trusts the Fed and the banks. As a result the con game may well be coming to an end. Fifty years ago we and a handful of other conservative warriors set out to inform the public of the giant scam that the Fed really was. It has been a long hard road. Gary Allen and Alan Stang are gone and of the originals all that are left are G. Edward Griffin, Stan Monteith, Anthony Hilder and us. During our lifetimes we now probably will see the end of the Fed. Because the people have finally been awakened. It was a long hard battle that may soon come to fruition.

The final step will be the termination of the Federal Reserve and its monopoly on financial theft. Unfortunately it will mean the demise of the only financial system we have known for 315 years. We do not know as yet what the new system will be like, but the con game is over and most of the world's inhabitants are broke. The debt that is owed simply cannot be repaid. Japan, the US, the UK and Europe will be the first to go followed by most of the rest of the world.

You ask who will be the big winners? Gold and silver of course. Just as we have been telling you they would for 9-1/2 years, since gold was $252.00 and silver $3.80. Look at the gains for those who listened. And, we still have a long, long way to go to preserve our wealth. Over all those years the gold suppression cartel fought to hold down gold prices by selling gold, using derivatives and futures and in collaboration with good producers such as Barrick Gold and others. Hopefully HR3996 (HR-1207) will now pass unchanged and we can take a look at what the Fed and the Treasury were doing and who aided them.

What we are witnessing in the US and world economy is the result of the greed of central banks to make as much money as possible before they have to collapse the system to bring about World Government.

Why will God hold a universal public judgment?
Although immediately after death, a special private judgment of each soul takes place, God has ordained a public and universal judgment for the following reason:

Obama Treason Charges Advance In Tennessee Grand Jury

Were Swine Flu Death Projections Hyped?

The 2009 H1N1 swine flu "pandemic" may turn out to be one of the most overblown and expensive medical crises in modern history. Indeed, this particular swine flu may be one of the weakest in history. The most recent figures show that the number of flu cases are already dropping in the U.S., England, and elsewhere.

It is a mild illness in most but occasionally can lead to severe complications due to bacterial superinfections. In the UK, under 200 people have died from the virus and in the US a debatable 4 thousand people have died. The number of deaths in the US greatly expanded from 1,200 to 4,000 after the CDC recently decided to lump in bacterial infections and "flu-like illnesses" with confirmed swine-flu related deaths.

George Washington's 1789 Thanksgiving Proclamation

THANKSGIVING NEWSLETTER – NOVEMBER 24, 2009

This year has gone very quickly for us, as well as for the many people who contact us, and, incredibly, Thanksgiving is now just a few days away. Margy and I wish you and yours a very happy Thanksgiving, and despite all the vast problems that “We, the People”, face, both personally and collectively, there are still things for which we are and should be thankful. We have many things on our “Thank You” list and we hope that is true for each of you. It has been some time since we did a newsletter, because the demands upon our time over the past several months have prevented us from even putting together a few hours to do so. To make up for our inability to compose more frequent newsletters, there is a lot of information in this one.

At long last, we moved to Maine, the first of October, during the beauty and brilliance of a New England Fall. For the past 15 years, as most of you know, we lived in New Mexico, which was a “mixed bag” for us. While we very much enjoyed and appreciated its natural beauty, we also experienced many different political situations, both positive and negative. Among the positive, we assembled some good people in that extremely corrupt state who took lawful actions against government and corporate abuses and won hundreds of cases in the New Mexico courts. The negative is that the vast corruption and suppression of our Rights, guaranteed in both Constitutions, is still present in that state, carried out by “public servants” who have sold out the People in exchange for financial and political power, and, sadly, the injustice they oversee will continue, until a large segment of the People, and not just a few, take Constitutional actions to stop these hypocritical government traitors in our midst.

It should be obvious by now to the vast majority of people in America that all of our governments, federal, state, county and local, do NOT represent the People, and, with rare exceptions, never did. These corporations, without Constitutional authority to exist, masquerading as governments, are devious, sinister, vastly corrupt and protect the interests of their true masters, at the severe expense of the Citizens for whom they are supposed to work. Just as in New Mexico, a few committed people can make a serious dent in corrupt government, but it takes large numbers of concerned Citizens using proven Constitutional methods to make lasting changes. Until that happens in every state in this Nation, the present governments will continue their tyrannical oppression and horrendous abuse of the People.

The serious problem of foreclosure is growing to massive proportions and has already hurt millions of Americans. Your government has not done one thing to benefit any victim of foreclosure, but has definitely benefited the perpetrators of foreclosures, with massive financial wealth, ALL at the Peoples’ expense. This is YOUR government and your system at work. Well over a year ago, we predicted on Pastor Massad’s radio program, Higher Ground Live, broadcast on www.truthradio.com, that there would be a catastrophic financial disaster in the banking and investment communities and that the “fed” would bail out these whores in the amount of 8 trillion dollars, initially, but the eventual amount would be three times that figure. Unfortunately for America, that prediction came true, and now the total bailout is nearly 25 trillion dollars – for those who caused the problems! Your government handed over unfathomable wealth to evil, shameless criminals; yet, did not give the People anything to relieve their tragic situations nor even approve a paltry cost of living increase for social security. Everything for the bankers and ruling elite, but NOTHING for the People. That is how much your government thinks of its people. But why should it think otherwise, because the People, as a society, do absolutely nothing, even when they have ample reasons to do SOMETHING. A few people cannot do it, but the society could, if masses of people so chose.

If this government had any true concern for the People, then, it could have done several things, which would have helped alleviate the foreclosure problem. Of course, this government is not really interested in solving problems; its only interest is creating them and then applying their “bankster” buddies’ fraudulent “solutions” to further benefit enormous wealth and power, at further expense to the People! Doesn’t this sound like the ruthless kings of old and third-world dictatorial regimes – only ten times worse - because the American government is supposed to be “the good guys”, and America is supposed to be “the land of the free” and full of economic opportunity for everyone? Disturbingly, the reality the average people are living does not match the propaganda the government and its media lackeys are spewing! The government, by and through the private “fed”, could have spent about 2 percent of that 25 trillion and retired those mortgages which were delinquent, saved countless homes, prevented millions of people from losing their piece of the “American Dream” and averted untold emotional trauma and human suffering. Just think what that would have done for a troubled economy! The government could also have done what we have suggested, forever, which is to nationalize the banking system, including the “fed”, and nationalize the oil industry. The money system Constitutionally is decreed to the People, by and through congress, and not through private corporations, and the oil resources and wealth of this Nation rightfully belong to the People, and not to private interests, who have manipulated oil to unbelievable extremes, again, at the great expense of the general public. Some would disagree with this, but some would also disagree with the fact that Hitler, Stalin, Tojo, Roosevelt and Churchill were evil, hypocritical, murderous bastards responsible for the death and suffering of untold numbers of human beings.

Anyone in foreclosure or about to go into foreclosure, obviously, has a very serious problem, not only on the face of the financial implications, but also deep within our so-called “justice” system because of the corporate nature of governments and the courts, which will find for the bank, in virtually all cases, unless given valid, compelling reasons to do otherwise. The only way the homeowner can fight this is to hold the judge to his oath, then demonstrate to the court that the bank has no standing in this matter and cannot produce the original note and contract documents. There are numerous foreclosure methods all over the Internet, and many people teaching foreclosure methods all over the country. Some of them have value, and could possibly produce beneficial results for the homeowner. However, many of these methods are initially very costly, very complex and convoluted, and if successful, additional heavy costs can be incurred by the homeowner. A lot of these methods present “boilerplate” paper work, theoretically designed to resolve the situation, but most of these cases go to court where the Citizen cannot stand on paperwork he does not fully understand and which he cannot articulate convincingly before the court, because he is not well versed enough to present logical, valid arguments to a corporate court which will not even listen to them, unless presented skillfully and confidently. For those methods that do work, we wish them and their users much success and exposure to others all across this Nation.

Our very simple, direct Constitutional methods that have proven very effective can be applied to virtually anything, including foreclosure. This approach simplifies the matter and prepares the homeowner to argue his case in court, if necessary. The unconstitutional, unlawful corporate courts which serve the interests of wealth, power and corruption are intimidating to most people, who usually freeze before authority; thus they are not able to effectively argue their lawful positions before a corrupt judge, who is part of and partial to a corporation. We establish our cases in such a way that the opposition usually admits to all our charges before we even arrive in court. Courts convene to hear and adjudicate matters in controversy between two parties in proper and lawful standing before the court. However, since (i) our opponents have already admitted to our charges; (ii) our opponents cannot demonstrate proper, lawful standing before the court; (iii) our opponents cannot truthfully defend against our charges; and (iv) courts only convene to hear matters in controversy between two parties in lawful standing, and neither of these lawful requirements exist, then, the victory is ours, lawfully and Constitutionally.

Our proven Constitutional methods are presented on our web site, listed above, specifically in the Metris v. Edwards case. They are simple, direct, logical and to the point and involve presumptive letter(s), affidavit(s), filings on the public record, notices of suit, Constitutional court challenges and lawful demands that our opposition support their claims with valid fact, law and evidence, or the victory is ours. We begin by writing presumptive letters to our opponent, in which we make our claims, charges and statements, all based in truth, fact, law and evidence. We presume that our charges are true and correct unless rebutted by our opponents, which rebuttals rarely come. The reason our opponent fails to rebut our charges is because our charges are based only in truth, fact, law and evidence, which is very difficult for even the most astute lawyer to rebut. The opponent usually does not respond, and if he does, the response is off point and not specific to the charges. We begin and end the letter with a presumptive paragraph, and state our charges between these two paragraphs. The essence of the presumptive paragraphs informs the opponent that he has been lawfully notified of our charges, and if he fails to rebut them, in writing, to us within 30 days of his receipt thereof, then he admits to all charges, fully binding upon him in any court, without his protest, objection, or that of those who represent him. Opponents rarely receive such binding language from “ordinary” people, and usually do not know how to respond, so usually do not.

If we were ever in a foreclosure action brought against us by a bank, mortgage company, etc., we would state in the presumptive letter ALL the deceptive, fraudulent actions and terms perpetrated against us by the bank, and specifically point out the fraudulent issues within the note that were either not disclosed, at all, or not fully disclosed, in this adhesion contract, prior to closing. We would also state that the bank is not in possession of the original note/contract/mortgage, and in the rare case that it can be produced, it was not signed by an authorized bank officer; therefore, the bank was not a signatory to the note and has no proper, lawful standing before the court to enforce foreclosure on a note to which it is not a party. If the bank expects the court to award a home to the bank, which has no valid, lawful proven claim, supported by specific original documents, and to which the bank is party, then the bank expects the court to award it a home in opposition to lawful requirements and thereby violate, at minimum, due process of law, as well as be complicit in fraud. It is highly unlikely that any bank can or will rebut these charges, and if they do not, then the bank admits to them, fully binding in any court, without their protest, objection, or that of those who represent them.

As stated, our Constitutional methods are spelled out in detail on our website, listed above. Briefly, if the bank fails to respond, then, we write the bank an affidavit. A sample affidavit is available on our website. The affidavit informs the bank that it failed to rebut our charges, therefore, pursuant to the lawful notification contained in the presumptive letter, it admits to all of them, and we list some of the charges to which the bank admits. Then, we invite the bank to rebut our affidavit by their own sworn, notarized affidavit, attested to under the penalties of perjury under the laws of the United States of America, with their rebuttal supported by valid facts, law and evidence. Since it is virtually impossible for any bank to rebut our true facts, law and evidence, they do not respond with an affidavit in rebuttal. In the fifty plus years each of us has been doing this no one has ever rebutted our affidavits with their own affidavits – for obvious reasons! If the bank does not rebut by affidavit within the specified 30 days, then, we record our affidavit on the public record, which makes it self-authenticating, thus, admissible in a court of law.

When we go to court, we hold the judge to his oath and his requirement to abide by his oath in the performance of his official duties. As mentioned, we have a series of Constitutional Court Challenges which we use all the time and which are also spelled out on our website. The bottom line in all of this is that our opponent has no valid position, at all, has never rebutted our valid positions, stated in our letter and affidavit, and cannot produce the originals of the note and other documents before the court; thus, has no lawful standing before the court to bring a foreclosure action. The judge, pursuant to his oath, has no lawful authority to award our home to a bank that cannot demonstrate a valid claim against our property by producing the original note/contract/mortgage. If the judge were to do so, then, he would be complicit in fraud. There are other matters, which we could go into on this issue, but this will suffice for now.

Anyone in or facing foreclosure who wants to use these methods can get full details about them on the website, as stated above. It is imperative, in our opinions, that people be well vested in their own situations, be able to present them in writing and make good presentations before the court, and know how to hold the court to Constitutional mandates. This is what we teach in our seminars. If people want to learn how to properly speak for themselves before the court, in a logical, lawful manner, with paperwork that supports their positions and which they can understand, then, we would be glad to present a seminar on these methods, if enough people in one area were to express an interest in this. All of our hundreds of victories for our New Mexico group have taken place in New Mexico state courts. We stay as far away from the lawless federal courts as possible. However, many of you may know that Margy filed a lawsuit against the public officers of the city of Las Vegas and their insurers for their fraud committed against Margy when she ran for city council in 2006. The lawyers for these criminals realized they could not win a case against Margy in the local state district court, in which she filed suit, and before a local jury, very aware of the vast corruption in that city, so they unlawfully removed it to federal district court.

Margy fought this on many grounds, including jurisdiction. Her opponents had connections with the court and expected a quick dismissal of her case, in part, because the lead attorney for defendants had a close familial relationship with the district judge assigned to Margy’s case, who also just happens to be the chief judge for all federal courts in New Mexico. Is this type of thing a surprise to anyone? Under pressure from Margy, that judge recused herself, which is very rare in federal courts which do little or nothing for ordinary Citizens. Also under pressure from Margy, the magistrate judge assigned to administrate discovery scheduling, vacated all discovery proceedings, which simply does not happen in federal courts for the benefit of a Citizen. The new district judge assigned to the case did not grant a sanctions motion brought by Margy’s opponents because Margy refused to surrender her Rights to unconstitutional court rules and procedures regarding discovery, which, to our knowledge, has NEVER happened in any federal court for the benefit of a Citizen who exercised her full Rights guaranteed in both Constitutions, and who held both judges to their sworn oaths.

The quick dismissal her opponents expected from the corrupt federal court has not occurred, and this case is now approaching two years, next month. A few updates may be of interest to you. In the new discovery scheduling, established by the new district judge, and not by the magistrate, who has apparently vanished from this case, Margy’s opponents, stated in the Final Joint Status Report that they STIPULATE TO HER FOUNDATIONAL CHARGES. Since the courts convene to hear and adjudicate disputes, and since her opponents ADMIT to her main charges, from which all her other charges emanate, then it appears there is nothing for the court to hear and the victory, lawfully and Constitutionally, should go to Margy. In a just court system, this would definitely be the case, but since this Nation has no just court system or government, only time will tell. Further, her opponents did not participate in new discovery proceedings, with interrogatories, request for admissions or request for production of documents. This entire case is a serious matter, much larger than not winning a small town election, since it involves fraud conducted during an election by public officers, all of whom have been protected by the federal court. We will keep you informed.

As many of you know, Americans have been highly and expertly conditioned and programmed for such a long time that it is easy to see why they, as a society, do nothing against the lawless governments, which are attacking them on all levels, and simply do and pay whatever government demands of them. They ask few, if any, questions, object to and challenge nothing, and if a murmur of disgruntlement and protest does exist, it is not serious and has no “teeth”. With this type of society, it is very easy for government to control the People in any way it wants. This is not the mark of a healthy, sane and ethical society, and America is far from that. Thank God for the few individuals in this country who have made and are making differences! Amazingly, it has been a phenomenon throughout history that virtually all societies on this planet have believed and supported the lie and fraud, while they disparage and often destroy the truth and righteous actions. The lie and fraud are given great reverence and respect by American society, but the truth and its messenger are ignored and receive little, if any, support and, in fact, are usually disparaged, vilified and eradicated.

A brief look around America and her actions throughout the globe demonstrates that our American society not only engages in wrongdoing, but also actively supports, that which is wrong and the lie which creates and implements it. To make things even worse, even the “average guy”, out of indolence, ignorance, indifference and/or fear, does the wrong thing in the ordinary course of life, rather than the right thing. Expedience has replaced honor, and the quest for the “almighty buck” has replaced the belief in Almighty God. American values are so skewed that most people seem to oppose truth, as their normal custom and practice, especially if recognizing the truth could cost them their time, money, position, or, in some instances, their lives. Why? Why would any decent human being knowingly or unknowingly advocate for the lie and destroy the truth? Who benefits? Who is the “father of the lie”? In order for this seeming contradiction to continuously occur, we have to understand that we are, and have been, products of extensive, unrelenting programming and intense conditioning, on multiple levels, to implement THE BIG LIE, and always have been; thus, we have served our programmers well by accepting, putting into action and supporting their evil agenda by living their lies which are designed to destroy all that is or was good in us.

America’s government has proven itself to be a notorious LIAR, without ANY honor. What rational Citizen could ever believe such a liar? American society does not THINK, because that capacity has been stolen from our society by the very institutions, which should be cultivating it. If this society were to think, would it have allowed this escalating degeneration of our minds, bodies, hearts, souls and spirits to drag us down into the type of country we now have? We must always go to the bottom line first, then, see how we got there. America’s journey to the bottom line has been a disaster for most Americans, but an enormous success, at all levels, for its evil masters. Maybe with the massive fraud, corruption, planned economic disasters, vast job losses, wholesale foreclosures of property and continuing obliteration of Rights - to name just a few - hitting them squarely in the face, Americans might begin to think, which would be a rarity, and if enough were to think and question, they might come to the realization that they have been pawns and puppets in the hands of masters who have controlled them from the very beginning of this Nation, as they have controlled this entire “civilized” world for millennia.

When any society has been as tightly and ruthlessly controlled, as has been America, obviously there is a purpose and reasons behind the controlling agenda. Americans have not only been socially engineered by their masters, but also engineered in every other possible way evil can imagine and devise, such as politically, economically, educationally, institutionally, militarily, religiously and financially, etc., etc. Again, if this were not true, then why have Americans allowed America to degenerate into something that is not even a shadow of the mythical America we all once loved? All the promise, once inherent in this Nation has been lost to the apathetic indifference and ignorance of this very disappointing society. Go to the bottom line and see how we got there, and who led the way. The educational system here has been a fraud for over 100 years, yet American society has done nothing about it. Why? For the past 25 years or so, those who control America’s education have introduced programs to further control the life cycle of students, in all ways throughout life, including limiting students to one type of work, based upon government approval, even to the grave. What has American SOCIETY done to stop this? Absolutely nothing, except for a few brave, outspoken INDIVIDUALS, who tried to stop this, but who got nowhere. That is not enough. If Americans fail to support their own Rights and our own professed values, then we have no Rights and no real values.

The control imposed upon America is much more devious then it appears. In fact, the average dumbed-down American, the prize product of the referenced programming and conditioning, would look you in the eye and emphatically tell you how free he is. He has no clue as to just how dark the conspiracy against the entire American experiment actually is. Rather than just being simply a well-vested cartel with vast wealth, enormous power and pervasive influence at their disposal, (As if this is not enough!), America’s masters are truly evil and sinister to an extreme unfathomable by “normal” human standards. Thanks to the perverse conditioning to which humans have been exposed, would you believe that a fairly large segment of human society actually envy these evil masters and would like to be in their positions? Those who rule us are an evil elite, operating not only here, but also in every nation on this planet, and frankly always have. Evil has ruled this planet from its very inception and human societies have always, without exception, supported that evil, either actively or passively, and given it its way. Man has not socially, politically, morally or ethically evolved over the many millennia and has not become aware of truth and reality, so why would society be any different today? If we go to the bottom line and work backwards, what movements or processes or accepted philosophies have transformed human society into thinking, independent, aware and responsible human beings? I think that most of us could agree that none have done this, or we would not be in these dire circumstances.

The old fight between Good and Evil is as much here, now, in our present America, as it has always been on this planet. In fact, this appears to be the major battleground for the culmination of this long struggle. Human society, including America, supports evil and opposes good, no matter what humans would like to think. If humans had supported good and opposed evil, long ago, and continued that behavior to the present day, then, evil on this planet and in America would not be the overwhelming force that it now is and has always been. It is really that simple, no matter how complex and contrived evil manipulates the truth about how it controls people’s perception about reality. Please remember that good reveals and simplifies, while evil obscures and complicates. Humans say one thing, but do another. They think one thing, then, do the opposite. They say they do not support evil, but their actions say otherwise. Evil is very clever, very devious and very committed to its goal, and considers humans lower than scum and not worthy of any consideration whatsoever. American society embraced evil at the very start, but had little understanding of what they were doing. This is normal for humans and societies. They accept wrongdoing as normal, and over time it is impossible for them to discern the very evil that exists all around them. The more perversity one sees; the more “normal” perversity seems to be and the more he accepts it and perpetrates it. This is similar to the man who cannot see the forest because the trees are in the way or to the woman who no longer hears the roar of the freight trains passing by her home because she has gotten used to the noise. When man accepts wrong as right, good as evil, and evil as good, then, supports evil governments bent upon his own destruction, clearly, any rational, independent observer would say that man conspires with, aids and abets those who enslave him. What other possible logical explanation can exist? Remember, the bottom line is ALWAYS the bottom line.

Does anyone think that those politicians and “public servants” in the district of criminals - ALL of them - who many Americans naively think represent them, and those politicians in your own state governments, are pure as the driven snow? Even a simpleton can quickly answer this. Since these vermin are not pure, then they are un-pure in varying degrees. Since most of them, at least in Washington, are multi-millionaires, and most, everywhere are also lawyers, most rational people could say that they have no honor, no ethics and no concern for the people whom they theoretically represent. As is often said, talk is cheap, while actions speak volumes. What these whores say is not matched by their actions, so they lie, and lie, and lie, yet the American people continue to elect them to office and continue to support the lies these thugs-and-thieves-in-suits tell them. Again, it is all too easy for any government to control such a complacent, gullible, ignorant and lazy society, which continuously believes and supports the lie, the fraud, and those who commit them.

The diabolical nature of our American governments and those who comprise them is so obvious to the aware, reasonable, rational Citizen, with some common sense, but not many of these people exist in America. As we have said many times, there are few good Patriots remaining in this Nation, and those few may not be enough to restore any semblance of Constitutional governance in our country. Good versus evil is everywhere in this world, and those “public servants” referenced herein are evil, support evil, and always will support evil, and always will oppose and crush Good. They have adopted Evil as their God or their mantra for life, and thus, serve evil very well. If one objective Citizen were to look at the vast evil this nation has perpetrated upon this planet, since, at minimum, from 1910 on, all of which is disguised as doing “good”, but when closely examined, actually serves evil, then, the logical conclusion at which he would arrive is that America is an evil nation, so evil that it perpetrates evil on its own Citizens, and the Citizens accept that evil by continuing to support their government. What madness is this? Is there ANY sanity left in this nation? When a government enslaves its own people to a private monetary system for the benefit of the evil elite, as America’s governments have done, and then enters into ongoing, wide-scale destructions through two world wars and numerous other wars, conflicts, “police actions”, “peace-keeping actions”, etc., and instituted and supported tyrannical dictatorial regimes, initiated biological terrorism throughout the world, all of which, combined, have killed 250 million people, at minimum, then, how can ANY good American defend the actions of the American governments who have done these horrible acts over many, many decades?

Take the enormous profit out of war, and see how many wars we would have. Put that profit into peace, and see how much peace we would have. This society is a win-at-any-cost, commit-evil, do-no-good, profit-driven society, so our profit and revenue are derived from evil and that which supports evil, and not from goodness, ethics, morals or any semblance of justice. It chooses to support evil and chooses to avoid that which is good. What madness exists in this Nation and this world, when a so-called “good” society chooses the expediency of evil over the inconvenience of doing good? If one believes in the goodness of God, how can he believe in the evil that is America and the society, which supports it?

With all the murderous frauds that America has perpetrated upon its own Citizens, within the time period referenced, such as the sinking of the Titanic to eliminate many opponents of the proposed federal reserve system; the sinking of the Lusitania which led to WWI; the “Spanish Flu”, which killed about 150 million people, worldwide, and about 20 million in America; the unconscionable attack, conducted by the “hero” generals, Eisenhauer, McArthur and Patten, upon WWI Veterans, who dared try to get the bonuses their government had promised them, but never delivered, which resulted in their and their families being shot and burned to death as they camped in Washington, D.C., “The Great Depression”, in which countless people and entire families starved and froze to death, and many others lost their homes and all their worldly possessions to the rotten thieves who helped create the “crash”, so they could steal from its victims; the contrived attack on Pearl Harbor which led to WWII; the “Thin Red Line” in Korea; the Gulf of Tonkin in Vietnam; Waco; Ruby Ridge; the Oklahoma City bombing; 911; the ongoing, absolutely deadly and poisonous aerosol spraying of this nation and the world; the totally fraudulent “Swine Flu”; the horrendous “medical experiments” performed on innocent humans; and the near-total contamination of our air, food, water and soil are more than enough to sicken any honorable human being’s heart, mind, body and soul.

All this said, the American Society has done nothing about these murderous onslaughts and, in fact, has supported them by continuing to support this murderous, vile government, despite the unspeakable evil is has and continues to perpetrate not only upon American Citizens, but also upon humanity-in-general on this planet. These are but a few of the bottom line evils foisted upon hapless people by this nation, and for any rational, reasonable, intelligent human, they are factual and historical and impossible to dispute. In light of all of these very disturbing facts, is this American Society a sane, moral, ethical and humane society, or is it so hypocritical and delusional that it cannot recognize the evil that exists within it and rules it? Do you think this society is worthy of God’s mercy? What do you think God thinks? If you do not believe in God, what do you think a truly decent, compassionate, egalitarian human would think?

If you, dear reader, are truly concerned about America, her People and the direction in which we are headed, please join us in our ongoing Constitutional pursuits to change our present course into one that is sane, ethical, honorable, moral and Constitutional for restoration of just Constitutional governance in this land. Various groups and presenters believe in, support and present non-Constitutional methods. We have said for a long time that any methods, which defeat evil and prove to be effective, should be adopted and continued. However, in the harsh light of reality and truth, few, if any, of these methods prove successful in the long run, and many times, harm the advocate. We ask you this simple question: If self-proclaimed patriots do not use the Constitution to enforce lawful, just governance in this Nation, are they truly patriots, or is it possible that they, knowingly or unknowingly, serve another agenda? Remember, evil is very devious, uses our best instincts against us, is very alluring, makes lots of false promises, but usually delivers just enough to keep one interested, but never enough to really resolve anything, complicates everything to appeal to man’s ego and self-aggrandizing nature, and ultimately misleads, misdirects and corrupts everything in sight.

If you support the true Law of this Land, then, please commit to our cause. Einstein once said, and many others have agreed in various ways, that the world is a dangerous place in which to live, not because of the people who do evil, but because of the ones who don’t do anything about it. Any American who chooses to take no lawful action about the evil force controlling and ruining America, is part of the problem and not part of the solution. Any American who chooses to take lawful action against this evil force is a true patriot. To this end, we leave you with this closing thought, stated by the late renowned anthropologist, Margaret Mead: “Never forget that a small group of committed Citizens can change the world. Indeed it’s the only thing that ever has.”

Here's a great video on gun control. This people gave up and then cried about it. Look at all these gutless men who, had they stood together, may have stopped what happened. They did regret not standing when they had a chance. Will this be our fate too? See any parallels between the bully boys of Europe on gun control and the fear instilled in the majority of people living in Lincoln County? England's increasingly repressive firearms laws often are praised by those who would restrict the American right to arms, so it is important to realize that those firearms laws, which now prohibit the private possession of handguns, rest heavily on one foundation--the British gun owner licensing system. The right to keep and bear arms had been alive in England for eight centuries when Parliament enacted the Pistols Act of 1903. The Act, which prohibited the sale of pistols to minors and felons, also dictated that pistols could be sold only to those who possessed a gun license. Since the license could be obtained at a post office with only the payment of a fee, and since no license was required to keep a pistol solely in the home, there was no opposition. But within a few short years, the licensing system had moved from the post office to the police station. Suddenly, Britons who wanted to own handguns--or rifles--had to prove they had "good reason" for receiving a police permit. Shotguns were considered "sporting" and were exempted from licensing requirements until 1967.


Anti-gun lobbyists in the United States have called for a "needs-based licensing" system and some politicians have lined up to do their bidding.

Is licensing gun owners a good idea? After all, "we license people to drive cars don't we?" If requiring gun owners to obtain a government license seems like a harmless idea to you, you may want to know about "Firearms Form 101." That's the "Application For A Firearms Certificate" that must be filled out by Britons in order to purchase a rifle or muzzleloading handgun. A separate form is required for a "shotgun certificate."

Section 27 of the Firearms Act of 1968 (as amended by the 1997 Act) requires a chief officer of the Police Firearms Licensing Department to be satisfied that the applicant is "fit to be entrusted with a firearm." (Emphasis added) As the applicant, you must provide: * Your home address for the last three years. * Your occupation and business address. * Information about previous convictions, including traffic violations. * Information about any history of Epilepsy. * Information about past treatment for drug use, depression or nervous disorders. * The name of your doctor, and permission for the police to search your medical records to obtain "factual details" about your medical history. * A list of the firearms you already own, including caliber, type, maker's name and serial number. * A list of the ammunition you already own, including caliber and quantity. * A list of the firearms you wish to purchase, stating the reason for wanting to purchase them and where you plan on shooting or hunting with them. * A list of the maximum amount of ammunition you wish to possess at any one time, by caliber. * A list of the maximum amount of ammunition you plan to purchase at any one time, by caliber. * An address where the guns will be stored, for possible future inspection. * Information about whether you have previously held a firearms certificate, or a shotgun certificate. * A letter signed by the secretary of your shooting club or each landowner where you plan to hunt attesting to the fact that you have permission to shoot at those locations. * Four passport size photos of yourself. * A fee of L56 (approximately $90).

As an applicant, you must also designate two "referees" who will fill out a reference form regarding your character. This form will never be shown to you even though it weighs heavily in the final decision to approve or deny the application. The "referees" must: * Have known you for at least the last two years. * Not be a member of your family, a firearms dealer, a police officer or a police employee. * Be of "good character." * Sign the application form declaring that it has been answered truthfully. * Sign and date the back of one of your passport photos attesting that it is an accurate representation of you at that time. * Explain in what capacity they have known you. * Indicate if they are members of a shooting club, and if so their license number and role in the club. * Provide their "opinion as to the applicant's suitability to possess firearms." * Provide information on your personal history, including any history of emotional problems, mental or physical disabilities and explain how knowledge of the information was gained. * Explain any difficulties you have with members of your family which "may give cause for concern given that a firearm or ammunition may be available in the household." * Explain their knowledge of your experience with firearms. * Explain their knowledge of your attitude toward firearms. * Be subjected to a background check and allow personal information to be held on a police computer.

In Amerika, Judges are already using orders of protection to deny gun ownership to perfectly law abiding people who have never been violent, on the say so of others without proof of any wrongdoing whatsoever, and as a political weapon against their political opposition. Sheriffs are denying concealed carry permits on the basis of orders of protection by judges on the same basis without any proof of any wrongdoing. These so called "justice" courts are not a court of record. The JPs seem to think an order of protection is the solution to everything. They seem to think they can slap an order of protection on anyone without requiring the accusing party to prove anything being alleged. The accusing party usually enjoys the "protection" of the court without being required to submit any evidence to obtain the order of protection. The accused party is usually not allowed to bring witnesses in the court room for hearings on these matters. Evidence in favor of the accused is ignored by judges and orders of protection are granted on the say so of the accusing party alone.
Judges who make these kinds of decisions need to be thrown out of office in the next election.
People who believe in the rule of law, and the maxim of "innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt" need to be elected to take their place. The Grand Jury needs to be re-established on a permanent basis to investigate corruption in government, especially in the Judicial branch.

AMERICA HAS A HUMILIATED FOOL FOR A "PRESIDENT"

President Obama took his massive ego and sparse historical knowledge to Asia last week. The results were so ugly even the New York Times took notice. Obama's Pacific Trip Encounters Rough Waters was its headline over a news analysis yesterday (11/19).

"Has a president ever been less successful on a trip overseas than President
Obama has on his eight day excursion to Asia," asked Fred Barnes of the Weekly Standard. "I've been covering presidents since Gerald Ford and I can't think of one."

The trip began at the Asia Pacific Economic Conference (APEC) in Singapore where Mr. Obama declared himself to be America's first Pacific president, on the grounds that he was born in Hawaii, and lived for a couple of years as a child in Indonesia.

Mr. Obama either forgot or never knew that William Howard Taft had been governor-general of the Philippines before becoming president, or that Richard Nixon -- who spent more time in the Pacific in World War II than Mr. Obama spent in Indonesia -- was responsible for the opening to China.

At the APEC conference, Mr. Obama acknowledged he will be unable to obtain the international agreement on curbing so-called greenhouse gases he has sought. This is good news for the United States, but a setback for him.

From APEC Mr. Obama went to Japan, where he startled his hosts and many of his countrymen by bowing low to Emperor Akihito.

The bow, an academic expert on Japan told Jake Tapper of ABC News, was in the form of a first year English teacher trying to impress with a "Karate Kid level knowledge" of Japanese customs.

The bow as he performed it did not just display weakness in American terms, but evoked weakness in Japanese terms, Mr. Tapper's expert said. The last thing the Japanese want or need is a weak-looking American president and, again, in all ways, he unintentionally played that part.\

The most important stop on the president's itinerary was China, where things went worse for him than they had in Singapore or Japan.

"When it came to China, President Obama's famous powers of persuasion failed to persuade," wrote Barbara Demick in the Los Angeles Times. "Not only is the U.S. president coming away without definable concessions, but the Chinese appeared to be digging in their heels."

Mr. Obama had sought three things in China.
First, he wanted Chinese support for sanctions against Iran's nuclear program. Second, he wanted China to agree to curbs on fossil fuel emissions. Third, he wanted China to agree to a more realistic value for its currency. He got stiffed on all three.

The most important of these is the currency issue. China pegs the value of the renmimbi (also called the yuan) artificially low in relation to the dollar to boost sales of its exports. This essentially mercantilist policy (against which Adam Smith railed in The Wealth of Nations) makes it harder for us to sell things to the Chinese, and for our economy to recover.

What Mr. Obama received was a lecture on the danger of U.S. budget deficits, and criticism of the protectionist policies his administration has implemented.
Mr. Obama was treated with far less respect than were Presidents Clinton and George W. Bush when they visited China.

He acquiesced as the Chinese subjected him to the humiliation of a choreographed town hall meeting with student members of the Young Communist League, Mr. Barnes wrote. And he suffered through a 30-minute news conference with Chinese President Hu Jintao in which no questions from the media were allowed.

To date, the Obama foreign policy has consisted of efforts to appease America's enemies and to bully America's friends. Neither has worked.

In remarks reported Wednesday (11/18), Iran's foreign minister said he opposes sending uranium out of the country, effectively putting the kibosh on a deal the Obama administration thought the Iranians had agreed to.

"Iran has very publicly played President Obama for a fool, faking their way through negotiations that were a farce from the get-go," wrote the Weekly Standard's John Noonan.

Mr. Obama seems oblivious to the shambles about him. "I've restored America's standing in the world," he told CNN Wednesday.

He may be the only person on the planet who thinks so.
