October 7th, Feast of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary:
October 7 is the anniversary of the glorious victory won in 1571 by the Christian forces over the Turkish fleet at Lepanto. This triumph of the Cross over the Crescent was universally attributed to the powerful intercession of the Mother of God, whom Pope Pius V fervently invoked with her Rosary in his hand, and to whom the prayers of all Christendom were addressed.
Two years after this great favor had been obtained, Gregory XIII instituted an annual feast of thanksgiving to be celebrated on the First Sunday of October in all churches where an altar in honor of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary had been erected. From being a local festival this celebration gradually spread and became general, until Leo XIII raised it to the rank of a double of the second class for the whole Church.
The devotion of the Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary dates at least from the Twelfth Century. The glory of having spread this form of prayer with such extraordinary success is certainly due to the Dominican Order, and, owing to their zeal, the Rosary soon became the most popular devotion throughout the Christian world.
The Holy Rosary as it is now recited, and enriched with great indulgences, represents, after the Divine Office, what may be described as the popular Breviary of the Gospel. By meditating on the appropriate mysteries, it may be adapted to the Liturgical Cycle, and because it unites vocal with mental prayer the Rosary is regarded as the most beautiful and approved devotion of the Latin Church.
Today the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary is recited by many even who are not Catholics because it is recognized as one of the most powerful ways to pray for God's help. If you want to look into how this powerful set of vocal and mental prayers can overcome the evil we face follow this link.

My comments:
If it were not for some very important victories in previous centuries by Christianity over the Muslims we might all be wearing some kind of cloth wrapped around our heads and jabbering in some Arabic dialect. The battle of Lepanto was probably THE most important of these victories, and it was very evident at the time what was responsible, and who was responsible for that victory.
This is an excerpt from the story of the life of Pope St. Pius V found in the Catholic Encyclopedia.
He worked incessantly to unite the Christian princes against the hereditary enemy, the Turks. In the first year of his pontificate he had ordered a solemn jubilee, exhorting the faithful to penance and almsgiving to obtain the victory from God. He supported the Knights of Malta, sent money for the fortification of the free towns of Italy, furnished monthly contributions to the Christians of Hungary, and endeavoured especially to bring Maximilian, Philip II, and Charles I together for the defence of Christendom. In 1567 for the same purpose he collected from all convents one-tenth of their revenues. In 1570 when Solyman II attackedCyprus, threatening all Christianity in the West, he never rested till he united the forces of Venice, Spain, and the Holy See. He sent his blessing to Don John of Austria, the commander-in-chief of the expedition, recommending him to leave behind all soldiers of evil life, and promising him the victory if he did so. He ordered public prayers, and increased his own supplications to heaven. On the day of the Battle ofLepanto, 7 Oct., 1571, he was working with the cardinals, when, suddenly, interrupting his work opening the window and looking at the sky, he cried out, "A truce to business; our great task at present is to thank God for the victory which He has just given the Christian army". He burst into tears when he heard of the victory, which dealt the Turkish power a blow from which it never recovered. In memory of this triumph he instituted for the first Sunday of October the feast of the Rosary, and added to the Litany of Loreto the supplication "Help of Christians". He was hoping to put an end to the power of Islam by forming a general alliance of the Italian cities Poland, France, and all Christian Europe, and had begun negotiations for this purpose when he died of gravel, repeating "O Lord, increase my sufferings and my patience!" He left the memory of a rare virtue and an unfailing and inflexible integrity. He was beatified by Clement X in 1672, and canonized by Clement XI in 1712.

Major Victory for Jury Nullification
From JG Vibes, via LewRockwell.com, we learn of another case of successful
jury nullification -- this time in Minnesota. A man charged with violating the
state's restrictions on raw milk sales was acquitted in what he and his
supporters called a victory for consumer freedom.
Over the past two years, the Minnesota Department of Agriculture has illegally raided Alvin's van, warehouse, and farm resulting in the multiple charges that were decided upon in court last week. Technically, Alvin was guilty of breaking the laws in question, even though the laws are totally ridiculous and unjust. Luckily this jury was informed about the process of jury nullification, and their legal right to rule in favor of the accused for breaking unjust laws.
According to the Fully Informed Jury Association "Minnesota has long had highly visible FIJA Activists volunteering their time and efforts to educate every potential juror in Minnesota about the right of the people to veto bad laws through the use of the Juror Veto, or, as it is commonly called, Jury Nullification. As laws become more and more invasive, punitive, and draconian, prison populations become more and more peopled by harmless, productive people, who have harmed no other person. Jurors can stop the enforcement of bad laws. Jurors have stopped bad laws since freedom of religion was defended by jurors, and by later jurors who refused to enforce slavery. We, the owners of all government, retain the peaceful, lawful right to refuse to enforce bad laws made by some judge or politician. Courageous jurors have always stood firm -- for the human rights of their families and neighbors -- by refusing to sanction bad laws. The right of the People to drink the milk of their choice, and to feed their children healthy foods, is a human right."
This news comes just weeks after a jury in New Hampshire dropped felony marijuana cultivation charges against a Rastafarian man because they believed that punishing him for the offense would be unjust. Hopefully what we are seeing is a trend, and as more people become informed about jury nullification there will be less nonviolent people put in cages for breaking unjust laws.
From the CATO institute, Tad DeHaven tells us about the "No More Solyndras Act" charade. The House of Representatives recently passed the "No More Solyndras Act" on a mostly party-line vote. However, instead of terminating the Department of Energy loan guarantee program that subsidized Solyndra and other boondoggles, the bill allows applicants who filed before the first of this year to still receive handouts.

A plea to confused Catholics
The Cristero War serves as the
backdrop of this historical drama following a group of devoted Mexican patriots
who risk their lives to defeat an oppressive regime, and defend the freedom of
future generations.
If the IslamoMarxist wins, American Christians
& Christians all over the world will be persecuted and have to fight for
their faith just like they had to in Mexico in the Cristero War.

A plea to confused Catholics
By Alice von Hildebrand *
Virgil was right: there are things that call for tears (“sunt lacrimae rerum”). This famous quote recently came to my mind when watching Raymond Arroyo’s program “The World Over.”
Virgil was right: there are things that call for tears (“sunt lacrimae rerum”). This famous quote recently came to my mind when watching Raymond Arroyo’s program “The World Over.”
He was interviewing Dr. Stephen Schneck, an associate professor at Catholic
University of America and co-chair of Catholics for Obama. The latter told the
hearers that he is a sincere and committed Catholic. This is precisely why his
decision to vote for Obama – dubbed the most “pro-abortion” president we have
ever had – left me dumbfounded.
How is it possible that a son of the Church – founded by Someone who declared that He was the Truth, the Way, and the Life – can justify his choice? He personally rejects abortion, gay marriages, embryonic stem cells research (all three strongly endorsed by our present president), and yet is trying to convince us that to vote for him can be justified on moral grounds.
What are his arguments and do they have any validity? The key one is that, according to him, Romney intends to make deep cuts in the Medicaid budget, and that this decision will inevitably lead to a notable increase in the number of abortions. Therefore to give one’s vote to Obama will in fact benefit the pro-life cause! This is a type of twisted logic that only “intellectuals” can concoct. It would be difficult to convince a peasant that a purely abstract projection (cuts in Medicaid will lead to more abortions) justifies voting for someone who is “pro-choice,” endorses not only late term abortion, but also the murder of those little ones who survived this “scientific” torture. This is typical intellectual prestidigitation, a sleight of hand of such “cleverness” that it justifies the words of St. Peter Damian: the Devil was the first grammarian: he “taught us to decline god in the plural.” By endorsing Obama, Professor Schneck inevitably gives his place to same sex marriage (which he rejects), assisted suicide, embryonic stem cell research. Indeed, evil engenders evil.
That Romney opposes these grave moral aberrations, does not seem to have any weight in Professor Schneck’s mind. Am I wrong in suggesting that when St. Paul writes that there are things that “should not even be mentioned among Christians,” he might had had “same sex marriage” in mind, an inevitable consequence of the endorsement of homosexuality so severely condemned by Plato – a pagan – as being not only against nature, but as being a moral disease of such gravity that it inevitably leads to the downfall of any society. History teaches us a lesson: the great nations of the world now extinct, were victims of the immorality of their customs. Their problem was not economic; it was moral, and inevitably, as a punishment, it affected the economy.
Abortion, i.e. murder of innocent human beings, is intrinsically evil at all time, in all places, under all circumstances. The same applies to embryonic stem cell research; a human being is a human being from the very moment of conception; if it became one only when fully developed, it would be a typical case of magic: namely a change of nature, as we read in fairy tales. The Devil who is a master at deceit, covers the horror of this crime by inserting the term “scientific research,” and the word “scientific“ fills with awe those who believe in “progress.”
May I suggest that if abortions were no longer paid by “other people’s taxes” (forced to do), quite a few people would think twice before having one. Money matters in our society, and if this barbarous practice was not covered by insurances, it is likely that fewer would be performed, and that women would consider carrying the baby to term and give it up for adoption. We know that there is such a high demand for babies that many are those who have to turn to foreign countries to find one.
Upon hearing Professor Schneck’s words, I was not only grieved: I was stunned. Unwittingly, he assumes that the end justifies the means: that to vote for a pro abortion president, by some mysterious twist, will in the long run, protect life.
Like all decadent societies, we have lost sight of the crucial importance of hierarchy in human life. We have in mind not only the ontological hierarchy placing the Creator above creatures, angels above men (except for the Blessed one among women), man over animals (challenged by Peter Singer: a healthy whale ranks higher than a crippled baby), but also of the epistemological hierarchy of revealed truth above all other truths, of veritates aeternae over empirical truths, and last but not least, of the solemn command to abstain from committing murder. This was formulated by St. Augustine. He tells us that man’s first duty is to abstain from moral evil (I.e. sin); the second is to do as much good as possible. By sin, we mean an offense of God – the infinitely Holy one – which also stains the soul of the sinner, endangering his eternal welfare, and in the majority of cases harms his neighbors.
It is worth mentioning that Plato’s admirable ethics, clearly endorsing the natural moral law, is limited because having no access to revelation, this noble thinker had no clear conception of God’s nature. Therefore he could not perceive that moral evil is an offense against God, even though he came close to it when he wrote that, “he who honors his mother pleases the gods.” His ethics is “open” to the message of New Testament; therefore he had been called: “a preparer of the way to Christ,” something that cannot be said of Aristotle for the plain reason that the latter having denied any possible relationship between God and man, eliminated the notion of sin from his philosophical horizon.
Man’s second obligation is to do as much good as possible. This calls clarification. For “good” is so rich in meaning and it inevitably opens the door to equivocations. It can clearly refer to “pleasure,” or to what is beneficial to man, or to moral qualities. Whereas it is indeed a duty to try to benefit mankind by spreading moral values (mainly by practicing them ourselves), and beneficial goods, there is no moral obligation to intensify “pleasure” either for oneself or for others. It may be laudable, but not obligatory. This is one of the very many pitiful equivocations in Jeremiah Bentham’s so called Ethics: advocating as our duty to produce the greatest possible good for the largest possible number of people. Which good?
In our society, “educated” by the news media, a high percentage of people assume erroneously that our concern for “social issues” should be given pride of place. They forget that the first commandment is to “Love the Lord our God.” This is our very first obligation. It is meaningful that several of the ten commandments are “negative”: “thou shalt not.” It clearly reminds us that being creatures endowed with free will, we are granted this privilege to freely obey the divine law. It is fashionable to interpret this as a “negative” attitude and to claim that “positive” ethics – the ethics commanding us to do “good” – should be our primary obligation. As mentioned above, this claim is dangerously misleading. This type of “positive” ethics is favored today. Modern man is sick of “prohibitions” and commands. He has “come of age” (typical claim of all adolescents) and should himself decide what his priorities are.
That “to do good” sounds so attractive to modern ears explains why so many Catholics are tempted to endorse the agenda of a president who claims to be “socially minded.” We live in a society of “doers” who value “accomplishments” and place “efficiency” above holiness.
It is noteworthy that a Joseph II, emperor of Austria in the 18th century closed numerous Carthusian monasteries, while respecting “active” religious organizations. The latter “achieved” something. The others did not benefit society. That the prayers and sacrifices of these holy monks were in fact the spiritual foundation of charitable works, is something that he did not and could not be perceived by a ruler fed on the philosophy of Voltaire, Rousseau and their ilk.
Cavour – as anti clerical as he was – was favorable to the work of Don Bosco: his “taming” of wild street boys in Turin, clearly benefited the State. But “contemplative” orders had no right to exist in this upcoming brave new world. The same philosophy motivated Clemenceau in France in the 20th century.
This leads me back to my topic: how can devout Catholics favor a man who has shown total disregard for fundamental moral commandments: thou shalt not murder, because he gives full priority to social improvements?
In this context, it is worth mentioning that when we abstain from committing evil acts, such as murdering, perverse sexual practices, to mention only two, we have no reason whatever to “feel good about ourselves.” We have just done our duty. (“We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty.” Luke 17:10) Never has a man received an award for paying his debts, for telling his truth, for being faithful to his wife: such a man has only done what he ought to have done.
But throughout the year, people rightly receive awards for having founded a school, or a hospital, or given huge sums to worthy causes. Inevitably such benefactors, “feel good about themselves,” “this is my work,” and indeed, the work deserves praise.
St. Therese of Lisieux, one of the lights of the 19th century, did not do anything spectacular. Shortly before her death, a sister was concerned about what could possibly be praised when she died: she had done nothing special. Indeed, that was true, but she did what she ought to do with such a love that in Gods eyes, it gained eternal value.
It is tempting to accuse me of having no understanding for the greatness and nobility of “social work.” It is the glory of the Catholic Church that from the very beginning she has founded hospitals, schools, and tried in every possible way to ease the burdens of suffering humanity. But this admirable mission was in fact based on a clear awareness of the hierarchy of our moral obligations. “Seek you first the Kingdom of God and His justice, and all the rest will be added unto.” To adore and love God is our primary duty, and it is also man’s glory. From this it follows that we should obey His commandments, a primary one of which; Thou shalt not murder. Early in Genesis, this abominable crime was condemned.
Those who do not perceive this luminous truth suffer from a grave disease: moral blindness. Whereas blind people know that they are blind, the tragic fate of morally blind people is that they do not realize that they are gravely “ill.”
It is my wish and hope that when going to the polls in November, all men of good will will say a short prayer echoing the one of the blind man in Jericho. Christ said to him: what do you want. “Lord, that I may see.” His request was granted.
Moreover, it is fashionable to claim that in acting, our key concern should be focused on the consequences of our act. Will it benefit society? Once again, the ambiguity is obvious: benefit in what sense? Morally? Humanly? Financially? Should we be concerned about “immediate’ benefits, or those in the long run? If our key moral concern should be the consequences of our action, it would be impossible for man ever to make any valid decision because he can never foretell what “fruits” his action will bring.
Let us imagine the following scenario; a hundred years ago, a man saved a teenager who has fallen in a river, and was close to drowning. Had he known (an impossibility) that the youngster was Adolf Hitler, should he have refused his help? The “call” of the hour was to save a human life. The future is in God’s hands.
Ethics is the most “existential” branch of philosophy. It plays a key role in our daily life. There is one thing that all men can and should share: the “natural” law (not confusing it with the laws of nature such as gravity, which applies to all creatures). I am referring to a law inscribed in every human heart the validity of which is independent of time, place, and circumstances. Moral evil injects poison in the society in which we live, because our acts have direct or indirect consequences on others. To take the life of an innocent defenseless person , is a crime that cries to heaven. Anyone who denies this luminous ethical truth suffers from a terrible sickness: moral blindness. Whereas a blind man knows he is blind, many are those who are morally blind – a much graver “disease” – and are totally unaware of it. They do not even question the validity of their moral vision.
Moral evil is the cancer of any society and history teaches us that all great nations that have disappeared from the face of the earth, were morally decadent. Money never has and never will save a nation.
My husband gave hundred of talks in seventeen countries in four languages. A couple of years before his death, he delivered his very last talk in Orange, California. It was after Roe and Wade (which made him exclaim that “The 'defeated' Hitler won the war” for the Nazi poison (ruthless disrespect for the dignity of human life) had penetrated into the soul of the “conqueror.” This justifies the words of Plato: “… many a victory has been and will be suicidal to the victor …” (Laws, 19)
Dietrich von Hildebrand’s very last words uttered with a trembling voice were, “A country that legalizes murder is doomed.” That should give us food for thought. To vote for a President who fully endorses abortion, is to vote for death.
Man’s second duty is to do as much good as possible. Modern man is psychologically tempted to give priority to "good and noble causes" over our strict duty to abstain from moral evil. The reason is obvious: by not committing murder, we are just doing our "duty" (see Luke 17:10). We do not deserve praise. How ludicrous it would be if a man “bragged” that he has not murdered his parents. How grotesque would it be to give an award to someone because he has never raped a woman or a child. Who deserves praise for doing what he ought to do? Whereas our concern about the wide range of "social issues" strikes us as noble and generous deeds that deserve to be commended and honored. It makes us “feel good” about ourselves.
Indeed, it is our strict moral duty to care about our neighbor's needs, but this concern can never justify our breaking a moral law with an absolute veto. There is no conceivable moral justification for endorsing Obama’s position.
Let me repeat: there is a hierarchy of truths, and there is a hierarchy of moral obligations. All those who intend to vote for a president who clearly justifies not only abortion, but homosexuality, same sex marriages and self assisted suicide in the name of “social concerns” are gravely “sinning” against this hierarchy established by God Himself. We should be “socially concerned,” but such concerns are legitimate only to the extend that they respect the natural law. Moreover, they should never “allow” us to violate a moral law with an absolute veto. I am not allowed to kill one person in order to save another person’s life.
Man is a creature: his primary duty is to obey. The great confusion prevalent today is that many confused people justify an intrinsically evil act, because they “calculate” (consequentialism) that "in the long run," it will bring a decrease of evil and therefore a greater good.http://www.dakotavoice.com/2011/06/conservatives-need-to-play-confrontational-politics/
This reasoning is the Devil’s logic, and he can play the clever logician when convenient.
On the other hand, one could also claim that if abortion were not “free” (a gift from the State paid by others’ taxes whether they want to or not), many of them would not be performed. If it had to be paid for, one would be surprised how many women would hesitate to have one. Money matters in our society. If walkers were not paid for, it might be that some persons would courageously train themselves to walk with a cane. The great danger of “great government” is that everyone is “promised a free wheel chair,” without paying for it, and thereby are discouraged from going to therapy and “re-conquer” their mobility. I heard about an acrobat who after a terrible accident lost his leg, and re-learned to do tight rope walking with an artificial leg. He wanted to. Moreover “big government” means a monstrous bureaucracy, and inevitably opens the door far and wide to fraud. A friend of mine who worked for the government his whole life long, told me that in government offices, there is nothing which is not stolen unless it is “solidly nailed down.” Some of us might hesitate to rob a neighbor. Who cares to satisfy one’s needs at the expense of an impersonal monster: the state. Tax payers will fill the deficit.
After original sin, men were condemned to earn their bread with the sweat of their brow. Most of them have no objection to working, but they do not like the “sweat”, that is the pain, the effort. How tempting to vote for a President who provides for one’s needs without having to “sweat” to enjoy them. This is the danger menacing us today. People should not be encouraged, nay “tempted” to depend on the impersonal state, a Leviathan which imprisons his victims into his treacherous net and will inevitably rob them of their freedom.
There are, of course, cases in which it is fully legitimate to ask and to get help and support. But we should not forget that the most generous “charities” are in the hands of individuals animated by love of neighbor. It is well known that from the beginning of Christianity, innumerable religious orders have been founded to take care of the poor, the sick, the afflicted. I am far from denying that the State has no social responsibility, but there is an abyss between personal care or “bureaucratic“ care. Alas, in our society, social help has now becomes a “right” and who is grateful for what we have a right to possess?
A French proverb says, “He who wants to kill his dog, will accuse him of having the plague.” It is easy enough to view an innocent baby as an intruder, an unwanted guest, threatening one’s career or promotion, and thereby justify extinguishing the life of a human person made to God’s image and likeness. No doubt, this approach to pregnancy leads to innumerable abortions.
Let us recall the grief of Jewish women like Rachel, like Hannah, like Elizabeth because of their infertility. How they suffered; how they prayed and their prayers were heard. Today a baby is viewed as a “tumor,” a “sickness,” that calls for urgent medical intervention.
How deeply regrettable to witness that Catholic education since Vatican II has been so deplorable that many “good” Catholics are plainly ignorant not only of their faith, but also of the basic tenets of the natural law that they share with all men.
Social work, admirable and praise-worthy as it is (let us think of what a Mother Teresa of Calcutta has accomplished – she was not a State Employee, thank God) will never solve the tragic problem of poverty: “You shall always have poor among you.” She devoted every moment of her religious life to relieve the poor. Has poverty disappeared? But her deeds of love are jewels now resplendent on her crown. This does not mean that we shouldn’t do everything possible to help those in need, but not to commit moral evil has priority. Murder is irreversible: a corpse cannot be brought back to life.
Catholics blessed by the Magisterium are doubly culpable for not listening to the voice of our pastors who defend both God’s commandments and the “natural” law.
I repeat: to place a strict moral commandment which suffers no exception, on the same level with a vague unwarranted claim that in the long run the abominable moral evil of abortion coupled with “social concerns” will have positive consequences, is a tragic confusion which, alas, has caught many “good” Catholics into its devilish net. Indeed, the Devil is the Master of confusion. Before going to the polls, may I urge all men of good will to say a short prayer echoing the one of the blind man of Jericho: “Lord, that I may see.” Alice von Hildebrand is a lecturer and an author, whose works include The Privilege of Being a Woman (2002) and The Soul of a Lion: The Life of Dietrich von Hildebrand (2000), a biography of her late husband

"as a lawyer, I must conserve American moral and cultural resources against the exploitation of those who would use government to destroy them. And so I think "liberal," when it is used as the opposite of "conservative," is a most unfortunate contradiction in terms. For that reason, as I said at the outset, I am inclined to be anti-semantic."

The Soros connection with wolves
What Wolves and George Soros Have In Common
Our forefathers stood up to the British king and fought for our freedom. Our forefathers stood up to tyrants and won their liberty and freedom.
THAT’s what masculinity really means. That’s where the pedal hits the metal and the rubber meets the road. It is the dictators { Soros, Strong, Turner} running our country who are the danger, who are stealing the future from us, and our kids, and our grandkids.
Come on, buddy .{ and those who aspire to lead us } . . stop posing. And start acting like a real man.
“If you’re really a patriot, you will defend the constitution. If you’re a coward, you’ll defend the elite who want to subvert it. Real men stand up to fascism. Cowardly men become boot lickers.”

Right now, the United Nations driven Agenda 21 is the biggest threat to the American way of life and the liberties we enjoy.
Thanks to super rich radical environmentalists, this country
is already living the biggest lie in U.S. history. Even the glut of wolves, grizzly bears and other predators which
are now destroying the past 75 years of wildlife conservation are a part of that lie.
It's what Americans don't know about Agenda 21 and its
strongest financial backers that threatens the very existence of the United States. If you want to know more about the U.N.

None so blind as those who would not see
China And
Russia Are Ruthlessly Cutting The Legs Out From Under The U.S. Dollar
|
Posted:
11 Sep 2012 02:52 PM PDT
The mainstream media in the United States is almost totally ignoring one of
the most important trends in global economics. This trend is going to cause the
value of the U.S. dollar to fall dramatically and it is going to cause the cost
of living in the United States to go way up. Right now, the U.S. dollar is the
primary reserve currency of the world. Even though that status has been chipped
away at in recent years, U.S. dollars still make up more than 60 percent of all foreign currency
reserves in the world. Most international trade (including the buying and
selling of oil) is conducted in U.S. dollars, and this gives the United States a
tremendous economic advantage. Since so much trade is done in dollars, there is
a constant demand for more dollars all over the globe from countries that need
them for trading purposes. So the Federal Reserve is able to flood our
financial system with dollars without it causing a tremendous amount of
inflation because the rest of the world ends up soaking up a lot of those
dollars. But now that is changing. China and Russia have been spearheading a
movement to shift away from using the U.S. dollar in international trade. At
the moment, the shift is happening gradually, but at some point a tipping point
will come (for example if Saudi Arabia were to declare that it will no longer
take U.S. dollars for oil) and the entire global financial system is going to
change. When that tipping point comes the global demand for U.S. dollars is
going to absolutely plummet and nightmarish inflation will come to the United
States. If such a scenario sounds far out to you, then you have not been paying
attention. In fact, China and Russia have been working very hard to move us
toward exactly such a scenario.
China and Russia are not the "buddies" of the United States. The truth is
that they are both ruthless competitors of the United States and leaders from
both nations have been calling for a new global currency for years.
They don't like that the United States has a built-in advantage of having
the reserve currency of the world, and over the past several years both
countries have been busy making international agreements that seek to chip away
at that advantage.
Just the other day, China and Germany agreed to start conducting an
increasing amount of trade with each other in their own currencies.
You would think that a major currency agreement between the 2nd and 4th
largest economies on the face of the planet would make headlines all over the
United States.
Instead, the silence in the U.S. media was deafening.
At least there were some reports in the international media about this.
The following is from a Reuters article about this very important
deal....
By itself, this deal would not be that alarming.
However, the truth is that both Russia and China have been making deals
like this all over the globe in recent years. I detailed 11 more major
agreements like the one that China and Germany just made in this article: "11 International Agreements That Are Nails In The
Coffin Of The Petrodollar".
In that article I listed a few of the things that will likely happen when
the petrodollar dies....
-Oil will cost a lot more.
-Everything will cost a lot more.
-There will be a lot less foreign demand for U.S. government debt.
-Interest rates on U.S. government debt will rise.
-Interest rates on just about everything in the U.S. economy will
rise.
So enjoy going to "the dollar store" while you can.
It will turn into the "five and ten dollar store" soon enough.
Okay, so if you are China and Russia and you are working hard to undermine
the dollar, how do you get prepared for the fiat currency crisis that your hard
work will eventually create?
You guessed it. You hoard gold and other precious metals.
And that is exactly what China and Russia has been doing.
A recent MarketWatch article detailed the massive hoarding
of gold that Russia has been doing....
Of course Russia is not alone in hoarding gold. According to Zero Hedge, China has quietly been importing
gigantic mountains of gold....
And all over the world Chinese companies are buying up gold producers.
China National Gold Group Corporation has put in a $3.9 billion bid to buy African Barrick Gold PLC,
but that is only one example.
A recent Fox Business article listed a bunch of other
similar transactions that have taken place recently....
You would have to be blind to not see what is happening.
Other big names have been hoarding gold as well. In a previous article I detailed how George Soros,
John Paulson and central banks all over the planet have been hungrily
accumulating gold.
So what does all of this mean for the price of gold?
That's right - it is likely to keep heading up.
In fact, Citi analyst Tom Fitzpatrick believes that the price of gold will likely hit $2500 within 6 months.
Personally, I believe that there will be times when precious metals both
fall and rise in price dramatically. It is going to be a wild ride. But
in the long-term I believe that all precious metals will be going up as fiat
currencies such as the U.S. dollar fail.
Sadly, most Americans have no idea just how incredibly vulnerable the U.S.
dollar really is.
The following is an excerpt from a recent piece by investigative journalist Bob Woodward. It
shows just how worried our leaders are about a crash of U.S.
Treasuries....
What happens someday if the rest of the world decides to reject our
currency and our debt?
Right now we are able to trade our dollars for the things that we "need"
such as oil from the Middle East and cheap plastic consumer products from
China.
But what happens if the Federal Reserve keeps printing and printing and
printing and the rest of the world eventually decides that the U.S. dollar is
not even worth the paper it is printed on?
The truth is that the amount of printing the Federal Reserve has been doing
and the amount of borrowing the federal government has been doing are both
completely and totally unsustainable.
At this point, Moody's is threatening to cut the credit rating of the
federal government if a deal is not reached soon to reduce our debt to GDP
ratio.
And Moody's is not the only one concerned about our exploding debt.
German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble recently
stated that he believes that "there is great uncertainty about the course
American politics will take in dealing the U.S. government's debts, which are
much too high".
Just because the economy is relatively stable right now does not mean that
it is always going to be that way.
If we keep debasing our currency like this, at some point the rest of the
world is going to decide that China and Russia have been right all along and
that we need a new global reserve currency.
That day is coming. It might not come tomorrow or next week or next month
but it is definitely coming.
Once the U.S. dollar loses reserve currency status, that will be a major
turning point in the history of our country. We will never fully recover from
that, and we will never get back to the same level of prosperity that we are
enjoying today.
So enjoy spending those dollars while you can. The party is almost
over.

Silver heading back up, now is the time.
Gold broke $1700 per ounce this morning, and Silver is going up with it. Silver spot this morning is $32.79
Just a few weeks ago silver was BELOW $30 per ounce.
These spot prices are what the biggest dealers pay for large quantities of silver bullion in 1000 ounce bars they can melt to make smaller bars and one ounce rounds.
The spot price is highly manipulated by the big players in the stock market and big banks, and they are in trouble.
The ratio between silver and gold is also going up again. For decades it took 15 or 16 ounces of silver to buy one ounce of gold. Right now it stands at 52 ounces of silver. Does that say "manipulation" to you? It does to me.
What drives the silver price down? Everyone agrees that there is much more Gold above ground and available than silver. In fact 10 times as much. One would think that the laws of supply and demand would make the prices reverse. There is virtually NO industrial demand for gold, but the demand for silver is extremely high. It's used in virtually every electronic product in the world, and once used it's almost irretrievable. So it gets used up and discarded. What is going to happen when the Federal Reserve Note looses more of it's value? Silver will continue to go up, and as the price goes up, so will the price of every electronic device.
So with such a high demand and low supply why are the prices on silver so depressed? Because of manipulation of the price by the big banks to keep you from thinking silver is a good investment, when in fact the fundamentals on silver right now are as good or better than they have ever been, and are the best reasons to get into the precious metal market over any other metal.
It seems that people get excited about silver only when it's going up. I get excited about silver when it goes down because I know I can buy more. Silver is a long term protection, more than a way to make short term gains. Silver is your best hedge for a dollar collapse, and if you think the dollar isn't on the way to a full collapse, then you might just as well stop reading this right now, because I don't have time to argue that point with you. It should be obvious that the US federal reserve note has NO intrinsic value and is on it's way out as the world's reserve currency.
So, the question to you is this. Are you going to stand there, and wait, while all your hard earned wealth just disappears because you have it in paper or digits in somebody's computer? Or are you going to do something that makes absolute sense to protect your wealth before it's too late?

Update on spread spectrum frequency hopping secure radios
These frequency hopping spread spectrum radios
continue to be very popular for short range secure communications. We have located a few more and have them on
the way to our location.
Click the links to the two models where you can
order.
These radios can NOT be listened to with a scanner
of any kind, and they have 10 BILLION channel possibilities so chances of anyone guessing the number you are on is
just about zip, even if they have an identical
radio. Studies have shown that 100,000 of these radios operating within range of
each other could be used without any interference
whatsoever.
Remember these are a discontinued item from the
factory and are in short supply. At some point I will not be able to get more new radios. So if you want absolutely secure
communications get yours now.

The smaller TSX 100 version is only 1000 channels
and has no keypad so won't do text messaging, but
has the same power output and talks just fine to the 300 series units as long as
you use channel numbers under 999. I have set up
an order page for these also at :
They don't have earphone/mics with them, but the
chargers and batteries are the same as the 300 series, and the price will be $95.00 per pair. I will be trying to locate more
of both, and I have one set of 100 series and
they seem to have roughly the same range. There is a 10 memory channel storage
capability but we don't recommend you use it.
These do NOT have a priority channel like the 300 that we can use for the
Liberty Bell.
You will have to set the Liberty Bell channel to
one of the memories and monitor that, then go to whatever channel group we send you to in the event of an
emergency.
If you want to know how to program that channel you
will need to call me at 800 889 2839 and I will verify you are one of my customers. Then I will give you instructions and
before you get off the phone you will have the channel in memory.
We are very pleased with the way the patriot
community is responding to this important step for safety and
security.
We will be using these radios to keep the peace in
our communities and ensure the safety of freedom loving Americans around the country.

Some previous emails about these
radios:
Here is a bit more information on these frequency
hopping spread spectrum secure radios.
Everything is included for Two-way radio communications,
no restrictions, no license required, no service fees, no text
message charges.
These use the most advanced two way radio technology
available with complete security and privacy of your conversations.
Digital technology ensures longest range, unmatched
clarity and interference free communications.
10 Billion Channels for privacy - Crowded channels and
privacy codes are a thing of the past.
Only eXRS radios set to your channel can listen in.
Scanners can NOT track your conversation.
To ensure privacy eXRS radios are NOT compatible with
analog FRS/GMRS two-way radios.
They are not compatible with ham gear or business band
radios, either digital or analog.
Write your own text messages or use "Ready Notes" already
in the radio.
Messages can be up to 80 characters per
message.
Personal or business use. Legal for all ages. Private or
group calling. Talk one to one or one to many. Phone
book stores 100 contacts. ( I would not recommend using this
for your group but it's there)
VOX hands free operation. 10 channel NOAA weather
receiver. Vibrate call alert. Roger beep on or off.
Silent mode operation (very important)

now for the 100r http://www.fm2way.com/tsx100r.html
All commercially available pairs of radios like FRS, GMRS
operate in the UHF (Ultra High Frequency) radio spectrum.
Usable range for all good quality UHF two way
radios is about the same.
Don't expect differences in range performance based on
advertised range claims.
All good quality UHF radios are capable of operating over
hundreds of miles under optimal or ideal conditions, but range on Earth is
limited to much less by the physical environment and
conditions of use. These conditions dictate that usable range is equivalent for
all of these two-way radios and typically varies from a few thousand feet to
several miles.
My wife and I have talked with perfect clarity for
7 miles LINE OF SIGHT. We have also talked up to 2 miles with
some obstruction in the way like a small hill behind our house. I have no
hesitation in saying these could talk over 10 miles or more line of
sight with nothing in the way.
They will be a good dependable secure communications
choice for group actives out to 1/2 mile or more, which is considered "near
field" signal strength in the radio business.
I intend to buy enough pairs of these to equip all my
children in the valley with this model.
You are welcome to join our group buying effort by going
to this link to order any quantity. A quantity of one will get you 2 radios
with batteries, and a dual bay charger and will also get you 2 earpiece/mics and
an operators manual. The wall adapter for the charger is included. If you want
12v charge use a radar detector cigarette lighter cord which we have in stock
for $10 or go to radio shack or somewhere and buy one. It plugs into the same
power port on the back of the charger.
These will not replace your dual band ham rig which has
much more range and the ability to work all the ham repeaters we have around
western Montana, but for secure local work they are the
absolute best we have found and the price is very right.

Thanks to some very observant patriots we have found a model of radio that operates with complete security using the latest technology called spread spectrum frequency hopping. This radio is a short range high frequency license free low power unit that runs on either 3 AA or nickel metal hydride batteries and comes with rechargeable batteries, dual desktop charger, 2 radios, 2 ear speakers with mic and manual. We tested the range and are confident that they will go up to 10 miles easily LINE OF SIGHT and give good solid local near field secure Comm out to 1/2 mile. They are designed to use any of 10 Billion channels, and even if someone you don't want to hear you has one of these radios, they would have to find your channel exactly, from 1 to 10,000,000,000 and put that number in the radio to be able to hear you. Chances of that happening are almost zero.I am getting ready to make a large buy on these if I can find enough interest. Your cost will be $120 per pair with the above equipment, plus $9 per pair if I have to ship them in the USA.Here is a link where you can look at these. The model number I am buying is TSX300R-2VPThese will give us complete security for short range operation with range as good or better than the GMRS radios available at Costco and other places, but with total privacy and security, and an added benefit of interference free operation. They also allow text messaging between radios. If you are interested you will need to respond to this email or call me at 800 889 2839You will be asked to prepay your order and wait about 2 weeks for them to come in.Here is a link to a page where you can use PayPal or your credit or debit card to place your order and prepay even if you don't have a paypal account. http://www.fm2way.com/tsx300r.html or the 100r at http://www.fm2way.com/tsx100r.html .Just click the add to cart button and adjust the quantity for what you want. THEY ARE SOLD ONLY IN PAIRS.So quantity 1 is one pair (2 radios) with the pictured equipment and a manual, and so forth.Paul Stramer

Prayers to beg for peace
From the votive Mass to beg for peace.
In times like these where people are fearful of their future and that of their children and grandchildren there is only one way that brings true peace of mind and heart, and that is to pray. But our prayers must be correct and true to the way God wants us to pray. I read and pray these prayers often and I think if the whole country adopted these prayers it would make a huge difference in our future. Please join me on a daily basis in repeatedly saying these prayers which are taken mostly right from the bible.
Paul
Introit. Ecclus. 36, 118
Give peace, O Lord, to them that patiently wait for Thee, that Thy prophets may be found faithful: hear the prayers of Thy servant, and of Thy people Israel. Ps. 121, 1. I rejoiced at the things that were said to me: We shall go into the house of the Lord. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost, as it was in the beginning, is now, and every shall be, world without end. Amen.
Prayer:
O God, from Whom are holy desires, right counsels, and just works, give to Thy servants that peace which the world cannot give; that our hearts being devoted to the keeping of Thy commandments, and the fear of enemies removed, our times, by Thy protection, may be peaceful. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Who livest and reignest with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end. Amen
Lesson. 2 Mach. 1, 1-5
To the brethren, the Jews that are throughout egypt, the brethren, the Jews that are in Jerusalem, and in the land of Judea, send health, and good peace. May God be gracious to you, and remember His covenant that He made with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, His faithful servants: And give you all a heart to worship Him and to do His will with a great heart, and a willing mind. May He open your heart in His law, and in His commandments, and send you peace. May He hear your prayers, and be reconciled unto you, and never forsake you in the evil time.
Gradual. Ps. 121,6,7
Pray ye for the things that are for the peace of Jerusalem: and abundance for them that love thee. Let peace be in Thy strength: and abundance in thy towers.
Alleluia:
Alleluia, alleluia: Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem: praise thy God, O Sion. Alleluia
Gospel. John 20, 19-23
At that time: when it was late, that same day, the first of the week, and the doors were shut, where the disciples were gathered together for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them: Peace be to you. And when he had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. The disciples therefore were glad, when they saw the Lord. He said therefore to them again: Peace be to you. As the Father hath sent Me, I also send you. When He had said this, He breathed on them; and said to them: Receive ye the Holy Ghost. Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them; and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained.
Offertory. Ps. 134,3,6
Praise ye the Lord, for He is good, sing ye to His name, for it is sweet: whatsoever He pleased, He hath done in Heaven and upon earth.
Secret
O God, Who suffereth not the nations that believe in Thee to be shaken by any fear, deign, we beseech Thee, to receive the prayers and sacrifices of the people consecrated to Thee, that peace, the gift of Thy loving-kindness, may render Christian countries safe from every enemy, Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Who livest and reignest with Thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end. Amen
Communion. John 14, 27
My peace I leave you: My peace I give to you, saith the Lord.
Postcommunion
O God, the author and lover of peace, Whom to know is to live, and to serve is to reign, protect Thy suppliants from all assaults, that we who trust in Thy defence, may fear no armed hostility. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Who livest and reignest with Thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end. Amen
