While billions with a "b" continue to be handed over to support a proxy war in Ukraine, Americans in seven States of the Union are abandoned by "the government" corporations and left to freeze in a morass of mud, downed trees, ruined roads, fallen bridges, and polluted water.
The cretins are not providing aid themselves, and they are shutting down access to public facilities so that private sector relief organizations are losing access to staging areas, electricity, dry storage, and other precious resources that ought to be deployed for the disaster relief effort.
There is no cognizance in Washington, DC, or elsewhere, of just how devastated the whole region is and no awareness (yet) that this was not just another storm with a few hundred people displaced and a couple deaths.
Approximately 12,500 people are missing, presumed dead, from Asheville, North Carolina, alone. Think about that.
Thousands upon thousands more are dead and/or missing throughout the seven-State disaster area. Billions of dollars worth of infrastructure have been lost or damaged. In most areas, the storm damage from Helene is as raw today as the day it happened. This isn't going to be neatly wrapped up next week or next month or next year.
And what do you hear from the "national" news? Crickets.
The attitude of "Governor" Roy Cooper in charge of the British Territorial State-of-State pretending to be the "head of state" in North Carolina, is best exemplified by his three-day absence at the very beginning of the disaster.
Absent. Worthless. Trying to pretend it didn't happen. Sweep it under the rug. Nothing to see here. Move along.
Instead of organizing the resources of the State and securing and appropriately deploying Federal resources, "Governor" Cooper has drifted along and compared to Governor DeSantis, done nothing to help his State or his people. He opened the door to ruthless FEMA subcontractors and did nothing to supervise their activities. He failed to come clean about his actual office --- or lack thereof. He left the people of North Carolina without a voice and without help.
Go to governor.nc.gov and take a good look at the rat. What do you see? Does he look strangely familiar? He should. You've seen his family "stamp" before on the faces of other British Territorial "Governors" operating State-of-State organizations on our soil.
The only person more responsible for the limp-wristed, negligent, useless non-response and/or harm witnessed throughout the disaster area is House Speaker Mike Johnson, who has had the ability to reallocate funds already appropriated as "donations" to Ukraine and the corporate proxy war, as disaster funds needed to take care of our own towns and people at home.
Except that "House Speaker" Johnson sitting in the British Territorial U.S. Corporation Congress hasn't reallocated disaster funds and hasn't even prepared the groundwork to do so.
Go to mikejohnson.house.gov and take a good look at that rat, too.
That man doesn't care about this country or its people. Look at his smiling face, his impeccable suit. A real day's work would kill him. Yet this worthless POS is sitting in the catbird seat, deciding to wait until the British Territorial "Congress" as a whole is prepared to take action --- months from now.
More Americans will be dead from exposure and despair, and billions more of our money will be gone to Ukraine, before these foreign British Territorial "Trustees" get the message from the "Presumed Donors" to get the lead out and tend to business right here at home.
Now.
It's up to us to stand up and not forget our neighbors, because not only will they "drop through the cracks" --- they will be shoved through the cracks with malice aforethought if we don't.
The news that needs to be conveyed to Speaker Johnson and every member of the U.S.A. Inc., "Congress" is that generous relief to the Helene survivors isn't a decision they have to make, it's an obligation that they owe. And the bill is more than thirty days past due, right now.
Their "personal" generosity to Ukraine notwithstanding, our credit is to be extended to take care of Americans first, last, and always.
