Over a year before we heard anything about the National Defense Authorization Act having provisions that codify the indefinite detention of American citizens without trial, over a year before we heard anything about the "activation" of FEMA camps nation-wide, Jesse Ventura told us all about it on his TV show, Conspiracy Theory.
After airing once in November of 2010, truTV was asked to remove the episode from it's lineup to prevent it being replayed. At the time it was labeled "dangerous and irresponsible" and we were told that it was "full of inaccuracies and irresponsible distortions." Well, I guess we are starting to see why the show hit a nerve with the control freaks in Washington, it was true...
