Great video Paul,
ReplyDeleteGeorge Washington in his farewell address mentions the dangers of Party Loyalty. And Newt is a classic example.
He waves the Flag and calls himself a Conservative and most in the Republican Party automatically believe it.
Even though his voting record proves otherwise.
Yet He is one of the Darlings of the Republican hierarchy & media talking heads.
Why do you suppose this is ???
I would be willing to bet my lunch money, If a poll was conducted, 95+% of the Republicans in this county would consider MR. Gingrich a Conservative.
To often loyal supporters from either party, point the finger of blame at the other, but are unwilling to consider their own party's flaws.
I believe this Blind Faith Loyalty is why were stuck in the stus quo of decline.
The video also mentioned Congressman Larry McDonald,
(Interesting guy)
wiki has this written about him:
He was a Conservative Democrat.
He was a cousin of George S Patton
He was killed by the Soviet Union while on board Korean Flight 007.
Jerry Falwell in a Washington Post article thought Flight 007 was shot down to get rid of Larry McDonald:
Ron Paul said he was the most principled man in congress
He had a perfect or near perfect voting record Constitutionaly, according Gun Owners of America and several other organizations.
In 1980 wrote a resolution calling for a comprehensive congressional investigation of the CFR & The Trilateral
Commision.
(Apparently Larry was a fan of Transparency too)
