Hats, Hats, and More Hats

It is just now dawning on many people that there are multiple Congresses and multiple Supreme Courts and multiple Offices of the President.

These different offices are sometimes referred to as "hats" --- as in "wearing a different hat today."

This saying and the practice of wearing different hats comes from the Office of the Pope. When the Pope wears a skull cap, he is operating in a different office than when he wears the infamous Papal Tiara.

The number of offices you can fill depends only on the number of hats you can wear. Last time I looked, the US Postmaster had seven hats--- seven different offices he could enter and vacate at will, having and manipulating different powers in each of the seven offices.

So with this background it should come as no surprise that there are multiple Offices of the President, each with different requirements and different powers. There are also multiple Congresses. And multiple Supreme Courts.

This is because there are multiple jurisdictions involved and multiple constitutional contracts to administer.

We already brought it to your attention that there are three (3) Constitutions:

(A) The Federal Constitution which is called "The Constitution for the united States of America", and which pertains to the missing American Subcontractor.

(B) The Territorial Constitution known as "The Constitution of the United States of America".

(C) The Municipal Constitution known as "The Constitution of the United States".

Each one of these constitutions enables the Federal Government to operate in different international and global jurisdictions, so when the members of "the" United States Supreme Court consider questions pertaining to each of these similar constitutions, they are wearing different hats, and convening different "Supreme Courts" using the same members.

Think of it as football, baseball, and basketball being played by the same group of players.

And the same thing goes on in Congress and the Office of the President.

It would be helpful if the people occupying these offices were required to change their hats when they "switch gears", but no such luck.

This is how the members of the Rump Congresses following the Civil War were enabled to continue operating "the" Congress, despite the fact that a third of the Federal Government, the American part, was Missing in Action. And still is.

They simply operated the Territorial and Municipal offices of Congress instead of the offices of what is called the Federal Republic --- switched hats, and carried on, leaving the actual Federal Government intended by the American People sidelined.

Because all three constitutions are very similar in wording and appearance and envision the same basic intent, the loss of a "hat" was survivable. Because the Federal Government has always survived on purloined credit and revenue from the regulation of alcohol, tobacco, and firearms, the financing was only tricky on the front end ---- the Territorial Congress is not allowed to issue actual asset-backed money, only military script.

Enter the Federal Reserve Board and Federal Reserve (Promissory) Notes.

The Municipal Congress authorized at Article 1, Section 8, Clause 17 has a different problem. Operating as a plenary oligarchy, the Municipal Congress can issue asset-backed money, but they are severely restricted geographically, and supposed to operate only within the "one mile square" afforded to the Municipality of Washington, DC.

Enter the Petro "dollar" and all the various evils associated with that.

Also enter the evils of Municipal corporations, like Microsoft and NYC, INC., which have extended the reach of the Municipal Government into the American heartland and around the world, and allowed this Band of Brigands to usurp not only on our government, but on all the other governments worldwide.

The so-called Two Party System is a result of the two Federal Subcontractors battling it out --- the Territorial Corporation (Military) and the Municipal Corporation (Federal Civil Service) --- equals the Republicans v. Democrats.

And now you see why there are persistent rumors of "Civil War" breaking out, as these two factions push each other back and forth, striving for dominance.

When you put this into context you can also see why we have two brands of every "Federal" agency and department --- the Municipal FBI and the Territorial Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Municipal IRS and the Territorial Internal Revenue Service, the Municipal DOL and the Territorial Department of Labor --- and so on and on.

The truly interesting part of all this, is that both choices are foreign governments with respect to us.

They are operating a foreign political system on our shores while appearing to be our government--- when in fact they are only Subcontractors of our actual government.

All this frou-frou of elections and political parties is about our Federal Subcontractors, and who runs them. It's not about us.

This confusion, deceit, and constructive fraud has been enabled and promoted and made possible by the members of Congress wearing different hats --- and simply not telling anyone.

The Territorial Government makes its money on war and by selling our young men and women as cheap mercenaries. The Municipal Government makes money via commercial fraud and manipulation of child labor contracts, administration of trust assets, and commandeering currency and commodity markets.

We've been the victims, targets, and unwitting participants in the greatest confidence racket scheme in world history, and it has all been made possible by the members of Congress wearing different hats.

And now we come to the important part: what to do about it.

They keep putting out information and videos about Kim Goguen, a small-time fraud artist who is making the big time in that realm of activity by working for the ersatz attempting-to-reconfigure Territorial Corporation(s).

One of the most bizarre aspects of everything that has gone on has been the repeated attempts to open the World Trust, aka, "Storehouses of the Lord" via fraud, usually by manipulation of the authorities involved by employees of the actual Principals, and usually by one person hailed as the "savior", a lone renegade philanthropist.

Remember Wolfgang Struck? The World Bank version of this phenomenon?

Remember Heather Tucci-Jareff, the well-intentioned young attorney who led the Paradigm Project and who tried to form the OPPT? She didn't know that as an attorney, she didn't have the standing to do this and is now serving five years in Federal prison for her "insubordination".

Kim Goguen is another such purported savior, and doesn't have standing either. She's the IMF candidate and a Territorial Citizen.

All these people are functioning as Legal Persons.

Not one of them is functioning as a Lawful Person.

As a result, the Storehouses of the Lord are firmly locked and closed against them. They can't get there from here, for the same reason that you can't be on the High Seas and standing on Mount Everest at the same time.

It's a matter of time-space and energy capacity.

So these imposters --- literally imposters --- chase each other around and around the mulberry bush and none of them can gain leverage or bear the truth.

They say that they represent so-and-so and are agents of this-and-that. Kim says she was "chosen" by Marduk. Great. Who made "Marduk" king? Not his Father, who wasn't appointed king, either. LOL.

No.

The World Trust was created by men who believed in the Bible, and this is what the Bible says about this matter---- Hebrews 1:1-13 --- God makes the heir.

There is only one appointed God-created heir of an estate in their system and that heir is a living man acting in the capacity of a Lawful Person.

Lawful assets belong only to Lawful Persons, so this makes perfect sense and is logically sound throughout.

A "paper man" ---or woman --- can't possess actual gold, wheat, wine, or anything else that is actual and factual.

So as I have told everyone --- repeatedly --- Kim Goguen isn't the heir. By definition. And this is certain as water flowing downhill.

Many Christians have thought that Jesus is the Heir through whom they inherit --- but is Jesus the Heir of the World? No, Jesus is the Heir of Heaven and Earth.

There is another Heir involved ---- the Heir of Balbeck, Persia, Phoenicia, Greece, Turkey, Malta, Crete, Armaugh, Rome and so on. He is the Heir of the False God, the Idolater and the Idol.

So what you were all meant to inherit from him was death and idolatry.

Call him the Anti-Christ, if you will, because he deals in the realm of Legal Fictions. This is the realm of the World and the World Trust.

The Earth was created by the Living God and stands in eternal truth; the World was created by the Dead God and is an illusion.

But even the Dead God can serve the Living God, and become a tool in his hands, even as light is born out of darkness and roses grow from manure piles.

We must be wise as serpents and gentle as doves, and discernment cannot waver. What is, is, and what is not, is not.

Knowing what we know, we are in a position to rightly value and use all things for good. ALL things. Even legal fictions and Legal Persons and the Anti-Christ himself can be used to make all things new and to manifest truth from an illusion.

So remember that the Heir of Balbeck, the actual Heir of the World Trust, is not "bad" in the same way that the Heir of Heaven and Earth is good.

An illusion which is temporary is not of the same realm nor in the same league as an eternal truth; and even if to our eyes, they may appear to be of the same nature, they are not.

Through one created Heir we have inherited all that is "dead" and illusory, and through the other created Heir we have inherited all that is alive and eternal.

So the World Trust, which is an illusion, controls the Lawful Assets belonging to the Lawful Heirs, and the World Bank, which is an illusion, is accountable to them to yield both the Trust and the Assets.

The Heir of Balbeck, not Kim Goguen, holds the key to making the World Bank open up the accounts; and insomuch as he is the Anti-Christ, people are afraid of him; but we mistake the subservience of the illusion to the Living God.

My Apologies and Your Happy Place

I haven't been able to keep up with my regular articles and correspondence in recent weeks. There are many reasons for this --- too many to recount. Be assured that we are continuing the good fight and doing all that has to be done to resolve The Mess in our favor and yours.

The Basics are now all out in the open and in your court. Literally. The primary work to be done is to educate everyone, and I do mean --- everyone.

Once people see what has been "done in their names" they will be shocked, but, this painful denouement also allows them to make the necessary corrections.

Being the Bearer of Bad News is not, as I can attest, the easiest position to play, but it is necessary.

Many of us have faced opposition, ridicule, and outright animosity from friends and family, too. Spouses have left, families have been broken, estates have been lost, unjust prison sentences have been imposed and served. Americans have suffered for decades under unjustified and unjustifiable "legal presumptions".

That is now at an end. Now, the pendulum swings. Now, the long overdue correction comes. And as it does, those on the receiving end are doing everything in their power to stop the inevitable correction.

You are all called to do your bit, whatever you can do. If at all possible, join your State Assembly and get involved in supporting it. If you have skills, they are needed. If you have funds that you can donate, they are needed, too.

No matter what our age or condition, we all have a voice to raise and prayers to offer. And an education to pursue.

We all have to deal with the fact that we don't know our own history, and that we haven't been taught the nature, form, and structure of our own government. Now that the truth is known, it is up to each one of us to learn and to teach others.

Many excuses and fanciful "stories" are being spun and fabricated to explain the bizarre actions of our employees, both Territorial and Municipal, but it all comes down to this---- both of the servicing corporations are bankrupt and foreign interests are still trying to place insupportable claims and demands against American assets.

Our employees have sold assets that were not theirs to sell.

They have made claims against their employers that are not supportable and created invalid contractual obligations.

They have embraced practices which are illegal and unlawful in all jurisdictions of law.

They have run amok, and while this has unjustly enriched some foreign interests, it has impoverished and defrauded us and many other innocent people worldwide.

Our actual government, which is unincorporated and yes, sovereign, remains in the midst of the resulting maelstrom.

Be of good cheer, and while doing your best in support of our efforts and your government, find time to go to your Happy Place ---- that imaginary space in your mind and heart where you are completely happy, your own little vision of heaven on Earth.

Dwell there in peace and turn a deaf ear to all the naysayers.

Day by day, we are all making the progress that has to be made.

Horse Before Cart Solution

Day after day I get pitiful messages of the "Oh, woe is me!" kind.  

"Can't never could do nothing." as the old saying goes.  If you take that attitude, you will never get started down the road to accomplish what has to be done, so make up your minds ---- this correction has to be made and the work has to be done and there's no help for and nobody to do it but you.  

Much of the despairing mail has to do with trespasses of "government" employees, mostly misguided "agency personnel" against Americans and against American property assets.  

The quickest way to end predation by foreign courts is to remove yourself and your Good Name from their jurisdiction.  

I won't belabor the process by which "you" were unlawfully converted into a foreign chattel property by the Pope and the Brits.  Suffice it to say that you have been unlawfully attacked and converted into such a status and it is up to you to remove yourself from it. 

We have pioneered the ways and means to overcome this fraud scheme and made this available via numerous pathways --- the 928 documents available at www.annavonreitz.com and the 1779 Declaration process available through the State Recording Secretaries at www.TheAmericanStatesAssembly.net, and now the whole thing has been computerized via the Land Recording System (LRS) --- which will make it all much easier, faster, and more official.  

Your Lawful Person has been unlawfully converted into a Legal Person.  Until and unless you correct this, you have no constitutional guarantees.  Your cart remains in front of your horse.  Your identity has been stolen by your own employees.  It's up to you to realize this and correct their "mistake".  

The fundamental Breach of Trust occurred when your birth event was registered instead of being recorded.  

Now, go step by step: 

1. Record over their registration and correct the public records.  This can be done in numerous ways --- see above.

2. Join your State Assembly, and take up your responsibility to support it. 

3.  Set up your Court System, which will then take precedence over their Court System, per Ex Parte Milligan, 71 US 2.  

4.  Begin prosecution of the offending corporations. These corporations are of two principal kinds ---- (1) foreign corporations that have been allowed to be here by treaty or other permission; (2) corporations that have been allowed to form as franchises of State of State organizations. 

5. Your State Assembly, properly defined and organized, has the ability to liquidate, fine, or otherwise "pull the charter" of any corporation operating within your State borders.  If you don't have direct control of a misbehaving corporation's charter, you can nonetheless prohibit its activities on your soil. 

Please notice that Agencies are subcontractors of subcontractors and have no possible authority over Americans at all.  

Our contracts are directly with the Holy See and the Queen.  Not the BBC, not SERCO, not the British Crown Corp, not the UN CORP, not the USA, Inc., not the UNITED STATES, INC., not the IRS, not the Internal Revenue Service, not FEMA, not BATF, not, not, not.   

All these agencies exist to assist and control our federal and federated State of State employees, and should not be addressing us at all, unless we are actually and factually: (1) on the High Seas or Navigable Inland Waterways; (2) actively involved in the interstate manufacture, sale, or transport of tobacco, firearms, or alcohol.  

Please also note that we have only two contracts that apply: 

The Constitution of the United States of America is our contract with the Territorial Government, also known as the "District Government", because it operates out of the District of Columbia and is organized according to Districts. 

The Constitution of the United States is our contract with the Pope's Municipal Government, which operates out of the Municipality of Washington, DC.  

No other "thing" --- statute, code, legislation, rule, or procedure supersedes the limitations or obligations of these Constitutions --Article VI.  Anything not explicitly addressed and delegated remains in the jurisdiction of the States and people -- Amendment X.  No American is subject to foreign law --Amendment XI.  

So the entire issue is: are you an American, a Lawful Person standing in original jurisdiction, and operating under the Law of the Land and soil?  Owed every jot of the Constitutions? 

Or are you a Territorial U.S. Citizen or Municipal citizen of the United States here on our soil to provide "essential government services" ---- Article IV?  

Is your cart before your horse or your horse before your cart?  

It's up to you.  You are the ones responsible for leading your horse around, harnessing it up, and getting the show on the road.

Our Land Recording System is Live

As of this past Monday, our Land Recording System (LRS) is live! 

That's about the most exciting and factual news I've heard in a long time.  

Because it actually impacts us and others around the world in a practical and good way, it's far more important than anything being reported by the Mainstream Media----even though some of you may be saying, "So what?" 

This week, our State Coordinators and Recording Secretaries began learning how to record documents using the new LRS.  As a result, you will be able to record your possession of your most precious private assets --- your Good Name, your DNA, your Declaration of Political Status, your children, your homestead claims, your land patents, your car, your business --- all your private assets, which until now, have been "mistaken" as public trust assets.   

You won't have to go through a difficult gauntlet of arguments with State of State Recording Offices or struggle to explain your political status to foreigners.  You won't have to pay exorbitant recording costs.  

No more arguing with patrolmen on the side of the road, because the Land Recording System coupled with State Assembly membership allows you to secure your State Credentials --- affirmative photo identification to replace Driver Licenses and put an end to inappropriate legal presumptions. 

Now that the importance of the Land Recording System is dawning on everyone, step back and take a moment to appreciate how many years Americans have had to suffer and struggle for lack of this service?  And, indeed, how long people throughout the world have suffered for lack of any official means to record their political status and actual identity?  

Picture me and so many others plodding to the various recording offices maintained for international purposes by the State of State organizations, paying through the nose for paperwork processes that were more or less effective, sorting through the welter of jurisdictions, and more often than not, being attacked and questioned at every step.  

Say good-bye to all of that.  We have stream-lined the process for everyone and miraculously, got it down to something simple and effective.  

You will need a birth certificate or other record confirming where you were born, two Witness Testimony forms from people who can identify you as the man or woman whose birth event is referenced by the Birth Certificate or other official record (such as Naturalization records), and a one-page Declaration of your political status.  Four pieces of paper.  Record them with your State Coordinator or State Recording Secretary.   

Welcome home! 

All the work that was done prior to this using foreign recording offices is still valid, but imagine how much easier this will be?  

This opens the door wider and makes it easier for millions of Americans to come home to the land and soil jurisdiction where they belong, to reclaim the constitutional guarantees they are owed, and to enjoy the freedom they have earned. 

It also makes our birthright political status easier for people to understand.  It's one thing to talk and explain, and another to show someone a State Credential card backed by actual State Assembly organizations and historical authorities.  

This is being made possible by a dedicated group of volunteers who have stepped forward at this critical moment in history to assist other Americans and help them make the journey home.  Thank and bless them every time you have a chance.

Even if you are not an American, thank and bless them, because this is good news for you, too. 

The concept that we have been legally high-jacked and human trafficked away from our natural political status almost at birth is finally coming home to millions of people around the world who have suffered the same fate.  

Because Land Recording is an international service, our LRS can be used by people in England and Australia, India, Canada and elsewhere around the world, to record their claims upon their Good Names, their DNA, their political status, their land, and their homes, and their businesses and children, too. 

At a time when many Land Recording Offices have been closed by the perpetrators in an effort to keep people permanently "lost at sea", the American Land Recording Office has booted back up with a vengeance.  

Soon our system will be teaching recorders from throughout the English-speaking world to use the LRS, and as the land jurisdiction government is restored from Beirut to Bangkok, from Mayfair to Muskogee, people will be able to secure appropriate credentials for themselves and be able to reclaim their private assets and assert their constitutional guarantees like never before. 

Remember always that men and women are land assets.  "From dust thou art and to dust returneth" --- our bodies and everything associated with them, exist naturally under the Law of the Land, not the Law of the Sea.  

Remember that It is up to you to declare your identity, your political status, your nature, and the law that you stand under.  It's your responsibility to run your own government and to chastise and direct your own public employees.  

The Land Recording System is one giant leap forward not only for America and Americans, but for people everywhere.  Take a moment this Sunday to realize the blessing this represents, bow your heads and give thanks for the truth and the greater glory of Nature's God, for your countrymen, your neighbors, your family, and your friends.  

This is a breakthrough moment brought to you by volunteers you will never know, working under far less than ideal conditions, to create the ways and the means for you to restore your country, to properly identify yourselves, and to claim your most precious assets.

At the Introit pray with the priest for brotherly love and for protection against our enemies within and without:

INSTRUCTION I. St. Paul warns the Corinthians against those who denied the Resurrection of Christ and exhorts them to persevere in the faith which they have received, and to live in accordance with the same. Learn from this to persevere firmly in the one, only saving Catholic faith, which is the same that Paul preached.

II. In this epistle to the Corinthians St. Paul gives us a beautiful example of humility. Because of the sins he had committed before his conversion, he calls himself one born out of due time, the least of the apostles, and not worthy of being called an apostle, although he had labored much in the service of Christ. He ascribes it to God's grace that he was what he was. Thus speaks the truly humble man: he sees in himself nothing but weakness, sin, and evil, and therefore despises himself and is therefore willing to be despised by others. The good which he professes or practices, he ascribes to God, to whom he refers all the honor. Endeavor, too, O Christian soul, to attain such humility. You have far more reason to do so than had St. Paul, because of the sins which you have committed since your baptism, the graces which you have abused, and the inactive, useless life you have led.

ASPIRATION Banish from me, O most loving Saviour, the spirit of pride, and grant me the necessary grace of humility. Let me realize that of myself I can do nothing, and that all my power to effect any good, comes from Thee alone who alone workest in us to will and to accomplish.

GOSPEL (Mark vii. 3I-37.) At that time, Jesus going out of the coast of Tyre, came by Sidon to the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coast of Decapolis. And they bring to him one deaf and dumb, and they besought him that he would lay his hand upon him. And taking him from the multitude apart, he put his fingers into his ears, and spitting, he touched his tongue: and looking up to heaven, he groaned, and said to him, Ephpheta, which is, Be thou opened: and immediately his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke right. And he charged them that they should tell no man; but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal did they publish it, and so much the more did they wonder, saying: He hath done all things well: he hath made both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.

Whom may we understand by the deaf and dumb man?

Those who desire neither to hear nor to speak of things concerning salvation.

Why did Christ take the deaf and dumb man aside?

To teach us that he who wishes to live piously and be comforted, must avoid the noisy world and dangerous society, and love solitude, for there God speaks to the heart. (Osee ii. i4.)

Why did Christ forbid them to mention this miracle?

That we might learn to fly from the praise of vain and fickle men.

What do we learn from those who brought the deaf and dumb man to Jesus, and notwithstanding the prohibition, made known the miracle?

That in want and sickness we should kindly assist our neighbor, and not neglect to announce and praise the works of God, for God works His miracles that His goodness and omnipotence may be known and honored.

SUPPLICATION O Lord Jesus, who during Thy life on earth, didst cure the sick and the infirm, open my ears that they may listen to Thy will, and loosen my tongue that I may honor and announce Thy works. Take away from me, O most bountiful Jesus, the desire for human praise, that I may not be led to reveal my good works, and thus lose the reward of my Heavenly Father. (Matt. vi. I.) .

ON RELIGIOUS CEREMONIES

What are ceremonies?

Religious ceremonies are certain forms and usages, prescribed for divine service, for the increase of devotion, and the edification of our fellow-men; they represent externally and visibly the interior feelings of man.

Why do we make use of ceremonies in our service?

That we may serve God not only inwardly with the soul, but outwardly with the body by external devotion; that we may keep our attention fixed, increase our devotion, and edify others; that by these external things we may be raised to the contemplation of divine, inward things. (Trid. .Sess. 22.)

Are ceremonies founded on Scripture?

They are; for besides those which Christ used, as related in this day's gospel, in regard to the deaf and dumb man, He has also made use of other and different ceremonies: as, when He blessed bread and fishes; (Matt. xv. 36.) when He spread clay upon the eyes of a blind man; (John ix. 6.) when He prayed on bended knees; (Luke xxii. q.i.) when He fell upon His face to pray; (Matt. xxvi, 39.) when He breathed upon His disciples, imparting to them the Holy Ghost; (John xx. 22.) and finally, when He blessed them with uplifted hands before ascending into heaven. (Luke xxiv. 30.) Likewise in the Old Law various ceremonies were prescribed for the Jews, of which indeed in the New Law the greater number have been abolished; others, however, have been retained, and new ones added. If, therefore, the enemies of the Church contend that ceremonies are superfluous, since Christ Himself reproached the Jews for their ceremonial observances, and said: God must be adored in spirit and in truth, we may, without mentioning that Christ Himself made use of certain ceremonies, answer, that He did not find fault with their use, but only with the intention of the Jews. They observed every ceremony most scrupulously, without at the same time entertaining pious sentiments in the heart, and whilst they dared not under any circumstances omit even the least ceremony, they scrupled not to oppress and defraud their neighbor. Therefore Christ says: God must be adored in spirit and in truth, that is, in the innermost heart, and not in external appearances only. -Do not, therefore, let the objections, nor the scoffs and sneers of the enemies of our Church confound you, but seek to know the spirit and meaning of each ceremony, and impress them on your heart, and then make use of them to inflame your piety, to glorify God, and to edify your neighbor.

INSTRUCTION CONCERNING THE ABUSE OF THE TONGUE

There is no member of the body more dangerous and pernicious than the tongue. The tongue, says the Apostle St. James, is indeed a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold how small a fire kindleth a great wood. And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is placed among our members, which defileth the whole body, and inflameth the wheel of our nativity, being set on fire by hell. (James iii. 5. 6.) The tongue no man can tame: an unquiet evil, full of deadly poison. By it we bless God and the Father; and by it we curse men, who are made after the likeness of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. (ibid. iii. 8-10.) There is no country, no city, scarcely a house, in which evil tongues do not cause quarrel and strife, discord and enmity, jealousy and slander, seduction and debauchery. An impious tongue reviles God and His saints, corrupts the divine word, causes heresy and schism, makes one intemperate, unchaste, envious, and malevolent; in a word, it is according to the apostle a fire, a world of  iniquity. The tongue of the serpent seduced our first parents, and brought misery and death into the world. (Gen. iii.) The tongue of Judas betrayed Jesus. (Matt. xxvi. 49.) And what is the chief cause of war among princes, revolts among nations, if it is not the tongue of ambitious, restless men, who seek their fortune in war and revolution? How many, in fine, have plunged themselves into the greatest misery by means of their unguarded tongue? How can we secure ourselves against this dangerous, domestic enemy? Only by being slow to speak according to the advice of St. James, (i. 19.) to speak very few, sensible, and well-considered words. In this way we will not offend, but will become perfect. (James iii. 2.:) As this cannot happen without a special grace of God, we must according to the advice of St. Augustine beg divine assistance, in the following or similar words:

ASPIRATION O Lord, set a watch before my mouth, and a door round about my lips, that I may not fall and my tongue destroy me. (Ps. cxl. 3.)

The Church's Year

Why is this feast so called?

Because on this day the Blessed Virgin was taken up into heaven.

Why are plants and fruits blessed on this day?

The Church does this to manifest her joy at the glorious victory which Mary achieved over death, the world and the devil, and at her splendid triumph when she, adorned with virtues as with so many flowers, entered heaven; and that God may so sanctify and bless the plants and fruits, that their use may serve to our welfare.

At the Introit of the Mass, the Church invites us to universal joy by singing: Let us all rejoice in the Lord, celebrating a festal day in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, for whose Assumption the angels rejoice, and give praise to the Son of God. My heart hath uttered a good word: I speak my works to the King. (Ps. XLIV.) Glory be to the Father and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

COLLECT Pardon, Lord, we beseech Thee, the transgressions of Thy servants: that we, who by our own deeds are unable to please Thee, may be saved by the intercession of the Mother of Thy Son our Lord. Through our Lord Jesus Christ Thy Son, who liveth and reigneth with Thee, in the Unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end, Amen.

EPISTLE (Ecclus. XXIV. 11 — 20.) In all things I sought rest, and I shall abide in the inheritance of the Lord. Then the creator of all things commanded, and said to me; and he that made me rested in my tabernacle, and said to me: Let thy dwelling be in Jacob, and thy inheritance in Israel, and take root in my elect. And so was I established in Sion, and in the holy city likewise I rested, and my power was in Jerusalem. And I took root in an honorable people, and in the portion of my God his inheritance, and my abode is in the full assembly of saints. I was exalted like a cedar in Libanus, and as a cypress-tree on Mount Sion. I was exalted like a palm-tree in Cades, and as a rose-plant in Jericho. As a fair olive-tree in the plains, and as a plane-tree by the water in the streets was I exalted. I gave a sweet smell like cinnamon and aromatic balm: I yielded a sweet odor like the best myrrh.

EXPLANATION The Holy Ghost uses these words in praise of eternal wisdom, but the Church applies them to Mary also, to describe the glory and splendor of her assumption. Mary found her rest only in God, the Creator of all things, who created her, and preserved her from, original sin, and lived in her womb as in a tabernacle. On this day God seems to say to her: "Possess the abode destined for thee from all eternity, and the inheritance designed for thee as the first of the elect." Thus Mary is exalted as Queen of the saints and angels in the heavenly Sion; and now in this holy city, she enjoys an undisturbed peace with God, shares His happiness with Him, and is second only to Him in power and glory; there she shines in the most radiant garments, like the ever-blooming rose of Jericho, from there she lets flow upon the wretched children of Adam the oil of her mercy as from a fair olive-tree, shades them with her protection like a plane-tree, and refreshes them with the sweet fragrance of her virtue and grace.

GOSPEL (Luke x. 38—42.) AT THAT TIME, Jesus entered into a certain town: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house: and she had a sister called Mary, who sitting also at the Lord's feet heard his word. But Martha was busy about much serving: who stood and said: Lord, hast thou no care that my sister hath left me alone to serve? Speak to her, therefore, that she help me. And the Lord answering, said to her: Martha, Martha, thou art careful, and art troubled about many things. But, one thing is necessary. Mary hath chosen the best part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Why does the Church cause this gospel to be read today?

Because it can be well applied to Mary, who more worthily and tenderly even than Martha, received, nourished and served the Son of God, and more fervently and attentively than even Martha's sister, listened to His words, preserved them in her heart and sought to fulfill them. In both ways has she chosen the best of all parts, because in both she walked in perfection, and so gained the greatest of rewards which can never be taken from her.

What may we learn from these two sisters?

That like Martha, who is a type of active, stirring life, we should be energetic in performing the duties of our vocation, but not on that account forget to practice good works, to do all for the love of God, seeking in all things His pleasure, and, since we can no longer administer to Christ in a material way, we should serve the poor, of whom He says that whatever we do to the least of them, He will consider and reward as if done to Himself. We are also like Mary who represents the contemplative life, to be fervent in prayer, in listening and meditating upon the word of God, upon the divine Majesty, its perfections and our frailty, thus to sanctify ourselves and to become more worthy of eternal happiness. This contemplative life Christ calls the better part, but does not, therefore, set aside the active life. We can easily unite both, but must never lose sight of the better part.

Why does Jesus reproach Martha?

Because she was uneasy and distracted by her over-carefulness and anxiety, and forgot to hear the divine word. — Thus do many Christians who find no time to work for the salvation of their soul, and even during divine service and the sermon are thinking of their domestic affairs, and so leave the church without having gained anything for their soul.

What is the one thing necessary?

To seek the glory of God and the salvation of our soul. He who attends to this; attends to all his duties, he is busy and active, but not uneasy and disturbed, and calmly directs his mind to God in all his labors, offers his every step to Him, and draws His grace upon himself.

PETITION. Would that I had better attended to the one thing necessary! Unhappy hours which I have squandered for the world, its vanities and pleasures! Where are you now? What shall I have from you in eternity but sorrow and desolation? Could I but call back my wasted life? But since that cannot be, give me Thy grace, I beseech Thee, O most beneficent God, to pass the remaining years of my life wholly in Thy service, and work above all and only for the affairs of my soul.

THOUGHTS OF ST. BERNARD ON THE ASSUMPTION OF MARY

ON this day the glorified Virgin entered heaven and crowned by her presence the holy pleasures of its inhabitants. But what mind can conceive the glory with which the arrival of the Queen of the world was celebrated by the brilliant heavenly hosts, their advance to greet her, their chanting as they led her to the magnificent throne? Who can fancy the tender gaze, the loving countenance, the divine caresses with which she was received by her Son and placed over all created beings, honored as became such a mother, with the glory that became such a Son? What lips can describe the assumption of Mary? As upon earth she, before all others, received special grace, so in heaven she, before all others, receives special glory. If eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, nor hath it entered into the heart of man to know the delights that God has prepared for those that love Him, who shall say what is prepared for her who bore Him and loved Him more than all! O blessed art thou, Mary! Most blessed wert thou, when thou didst receive the Saviour; most blessed art thou, when the Saviour receives thee!

ST. BERNARD'S PRAYER TO MARY

We accompany thee, on this day, with our most ardent wishes to thy Son, O glorious Virgin, Queen of heaven! and follow thee from afar, O happy Virgin! Give thy mildness to the world, give of the grace thou hast found with God. Obtain by thy blessed intercession, grace for the guilty, recovery for the sick, strength for the faint-hearted, aid for those in peril! Dispense to us thy servants, who on this glorious festival-day invoke thy sweetest name, O gentlest Queen, the grace of Jesus Christ, thy Son, our Lord and God, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

What THEY Do

1.  THEY deliberately keep you poor and sick and confused and afraid and dependent on THEM. 

2. Then THEY make up “reasons” for the conditions THEY create— they tell you that your misery and poverty is because you are black or because you are Latino or because you are Catholic or because you are Protestant or because, because, because, because. 

3.  And then THEY present themselves as your saviors and they talk big and you elect THEM to right the wrongs and end the poverty and injustice that THEY create.....

4. And they smile all the way to the bank because when you let THEM “represent” you, THEY  can use your labor and your body and your credit to pay for THEIR debts. 

Repeat, repeat, repeat. 

It is in THEIR  self-interest to keep you needy and ignorant and helpless and downtrodden, so that’s what THEY do.  It’s to THEIR advantage to lie to you about the causes of your misery—- so THEY do.  And when you fall into THEIR trap, you make it easy for THEM to legally rob you blind, so THEY do.  

You dumb clucks have been electing THEM to “represent” you for over a hundred years and look what you’ve got for it?  

A choice between Daddy Warbucks v. Boris & Natasha.   Another World War versus a Communist takeover.  

Take your pick—-Raspberry dog dung or chocolate-flavored?  Would you like a cone or a cup?  The Dems will even sprinkle nuts on top. 

Yes, it is true—-THEY select ‘EM, and you foolishly elect THEM. 

How long and how often do you have to be reamed before you wake up? 

This  is what THEY do.  This is how THEIR governments work.  THEY have been skinning and using and abusing and enslaving and deceiving THEIR  own people  since the days of Rome and THEY are not willing to stop. 

From THEIR perspective, THEY have a good thing going— a siphon into your pocketbook, —-and with your permission!  

Because you elected THEM! 

Now, here is the contrast— here is what WE do. 

We, the People, run our own separate government.  We don’t lie to or manipulate anybody.  We give you the direct power to rule your own lives and communities and hold you responsible.  

What a concept!  Self-governance!

Our own courts and sheriffs, our own recording system, our own elections (without the lobbying organizations calling themselves political parties), our own credentials, our own systems and budgets. 

We don’t blame others because we know that there is nobody else to blame: we are in charge. We don’t whine and feel sorry for ourselves.  When we fall on our rumps, we dust off and get back up and we don’t cry and whine about mean old Mr. Gravity. 

This is the American Way v. THEM.
