The Open Gate

 By Anna Von Reitz

Think of your ego as what separates yourself from the rest of creation. You can use it as an obstacle to block everything out, or set it aside at will, almost like opening or closing a gate.

Please set your ego aside for just a couple of minutes and follow along with this exercise. Imagine this clearly:

Someone who is trustworthy and kind, most likely a spouse or other intimate friend, is kissing your shoulders— small, gentle, warm, chaste kisses all along the top of one shoulder and along the back side of your shoulder....to the big bump of your Atlas vertebrae....then up and down the back of your neck....and then across the top-back of your other shoulder.

Let your shoulders relax and fall as this is happening. Let your breathing deepen.  Relax.  Drink the love in.

Then, lift your chin, and let your partner do the same thing on the front side of your shoulder girdle.... more small gentle kisses, across one collar bone.... up the center of your throat, down the center of your throat, and all the way across your other collar bone.

Let your shoulders completely relax. Breathe deep.  Feel the peace.

Use your chin to draw a figure eight infinity sign.  This is the symbol of the sea of love that surrounds you and holds you.  You are at home now, no longer feeling alone, knowing you are part of something so much greater than just your body.

And knowing that you are loved and safe and part of All That Is.  This symbol reminds you of this fact.

Breathe deep. From the smallest grain of sand to the most distant light of stars you are part of it all.  You can never be separate, never alone.  The ego is just a gate that you can open or close.

Much peace, much love ---

Granna
