There are rumors circulating that not only is the government shut down but that 93 US Senators are going to be executed for "treason" for certifying a presidential election without investigating claims of election tampering.
They ARE obligated to investigate any credible evidence of election tampering -- dead people voting in mass numbers, ballot box stuffing, millions of rubber stamped, identical mail-in ballots, discovery of algorithms installed in voting machines designed to erase votes, other techie stuff designed to flip votes, nah, no evidence of election tampering, was there?
I thought there was plenty of interesting evidence of election tampering self-evident on the face of it, right out of the proverbial box.
Quite apart from the above specific problems, that started showing up very soon after the election results in 2020, there were the more visceral evidences --- Trump had a great first term and accomplished some miracles for the economy, lots of new jobs, lower taxes, less regulation, everyone should have been happy-happy in the pocketbook and, rationally, they should have wanted more of that good money karma.
The election result went against every pocketbook election in history.
That's a good whiff of swamp water.
There's also the fact that Trump got out and campaigned hard, and Biden hid in his basement.
That also went against every election in known history.
Add that to the fact that Joe was an admitted influence peddler and bully, who abused his office as Vice-President under Obama, and admitted it on TV.
That all by itself should have zeroed out his chances of ever sitting in the Big Chair.
There was definitely something rotten in the cheese drawer on the 2020 Election and everyone knew it. Even a hundred insulated and ivory towered senators had to know that it smelled bad, that it was wonky in the extreme, that nobody even believed the results.
Still, even though they were required and obligated to investigate it, they didn't. They just certified and rubber stamped, Joe wins.
Which meant four years of mayhem and swift decline for the whole country.
And yes, that can be considered treason.... except, was this even really an election? Or a straw poll?
Our popular votes don't actually elect anyone for President. The only ones who vote on that are the members of the Electoral College.
And what proof do we have that the popular election unduly influenced the votes of the Electoral College?
It's a good question, one that people ought to ask, with any potential for lives hanging in the balance.
However, there is another danger, one that equates mutiny with treason. Mutiny on the sea equals treason on the land. Maybe what Trump is bringing isn't treason, but mutiny instead.
In that case, it's a simple matter of lining them up and shooting them dead. Mutineers in Admiralty get no mercy and trials are short, usually just centering on answering one or two questions "yes" or "no".
Were you aware of your obligation to investigate allegations of election fraud and interference?
Yes.
Did you receive such allegations related to the 2020 presidential election?
Yes.
Did you conduct such an investigation into the 2020 presidential election?
No.
Boom, crack, boom, and that is all she wrote in Admiralty.
There is something oddly refreshing about Admiralty Law, in that it cuts right through all the extraneous stuff: the impoverished childhood and less than perfect relationship with your girlfriend doesn't count. Just answer the questions. Yes or no.
It makes for speedy, efficient justice and the same no-nonsense approach makes for speedy executions, too. Get a big enough firing squad and it's all over in no time.
Still, my Mother used to call me "the Little Cynic" --- and there's a part of me that wonders, number one, if this is just another rumor among the 50,000 zooming around, or, if it is true and 90% of the US Senate is gone--- is it really over an election?
Sure, there have to be scapegoats, but they also have to get rid of those who know the truth.
And who would know more dirt than the members of the US Senate?
Keep your ears to the ground, your groceries stocked up, evaluate everything you hear but don't believe it until you have proof, and if we've come to our own strange version of a regime change, let's just say that it's admittedly an extreme response to our need for term limits.
Hugs,
Granna
