Thank you. This morning after a pastor reminded me of Romans 13 and that we should follow "authority" Never mind that it all seems to be lies and mass confusion? Never mind that the governor(Indiana) acted in an unconstitutional manner??? i then was was reminded of Mathew 6:24 No man can serve two masters
Amen. And I have also thought about Romans 6:16 “Know ye not that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death or of obedience unto righteousness.”
Also, “We ought to obey God rather than men.” Acts 5:29.
As I have thought about all of this I wanted to know what the Word of God has to say. The Lord brought some Scriptures to my mind, namely, I am not my own, I have been bought with a price, the price of the precious blood of the Lamb. I am God’s by creation and redemption. He alone has authority over my body and can tell me what is best for me, not the government. Jesus did not social distance. He came near to us to heal, love and forgive. He touched the lepers and made them whole. All that is going on is so opposed to God. An enemy hath done this��. But we are to look up for our redemption draweth nigh. ����♀️
