Leemon Baird x Harvard Talk - Hashgraph: New Directions for Blockchains & Distributed Ledgers



On November 20, Leemon Baird, inventor of hashgraph, spoke at Harvard Business School, giving a comprehensive overview of the consensus algorithm, while taking questions from the audience of students. Leemon first compares the four generations of blockchain technology and then gives a deeper dive into gossip about gossip and Virtual Voting.

  1. I am going to plead admitted ignorance here: I've never seen blockchain described or explained, neither have I ever seen anyone explain any of the crypto coins, what they look like, what a Wallet is, where they are
    purchased or where they are even listed.
    For these reasons I have largely ignored that whole mess, simply because people just up and start talking about all that, and I go, Whoa back up here, why don't you explain what the hell you're talking about first. I first began seeing bit coin mentioned back in '13 and STILL fail to see any informative details about it.
    (at least I admit when I don't know something)

    1. Go to the front page of this blog (home) and in the search box put in bitcoin and you will be taken to several movies that explain blockchain and how it works and what it is from the beginning by the experts who invented it and use it to make lots of money.
