What is the DHS, really? Who do they work for?

In a nutshell the DHS is a military force hired and trained to protect the corporation and enforce their agenda...ie put down dissent.  What the article linked below explains is that local police departments are corporate in nature and hired by their respective cities and towns for the exact same purpose. What they enforce are corporate policies not laws. However, they have been, and are being, merged into DHS as an expansion of federal policing and protection of not just the local corporate agenda and revenue generation but enforcement of federal mandates involving corporate protection. They are private muscle for corporate needs. All in all the agenda is the same whether it is local or national. It is becoming one in the same and is often referred to as the police state. Here it is detailed pretty well.
